“Today I had the pleasure of being served by a lovely young lady named Kendall. She was super friendly and had a beautiful beaming smile. Plus she managed to get all of our groceries into a tiny bag! We had a little banter at the till and she mentioned that she liked the colour of my Hijab (Muslim head covering). I was absolutely flabbergasted that Kendall actually knew what it was called and instantly she made me feel welcome (which is not how I usually feel). I am actually lost for words but I have the biggest smile on my face. If management are reading this review then give the girl a pay rise because she is definitely a merit to Tops and deserves it. Just a note to say Kendall was friendly and welcoming to all the customers not just me. Looking forward to seeing Kendall again.”

“I usually don't shopped at this Tops location, while shopping I seen a display of a hanging egg chair. I went back a few weeks later 07/29/25 to see if it was still there, it was so I purchased it. I have the best customer service experience ever. Holly, who I think is a manager was outstanding, I told her I wanted to purchase the display, I didn't want to put it together, she made sure to get me assistance, in order to get the chair in my car. Along, comes Jay who was amazing as well. Jay, unscrewed the bar in order to get the chair in my car, he made sure that I had all the screws required to put the bar back together. Both of their, attitudes we amazing not once did they made me fell like I was not important and what they were doing was a pleasure to assist me. Both Holly and Jay stayed with me until I pulled off with my chair!! HOLLY and JAY are the best and deserve to be rewarded for outstanding customer service, they went above and beyond job expectations. I'm sure they have helped others as well. “The Mount Read Blvd Tops is awesome! It’s humongous, well stocked and absolutely spotless! I especially loved the wide aisles. Their bakery is fantastic as well as the clearly marked gluten free range they stock. The staff were helpful and polite. The carpark is huge so no need to drive around looking for a spot!”

Walmart just launched Realm, its new 3D online shopping platform. To help you visualize what that means, imagine a virtual mall packed with bright colors, wacky landscapes, and cartoon avatars wandering around. Realm lets you browse "digital doubles" of real Walmart products by navigating through several make-believe worlds. "We believe this is the future of commerce," said Justin Breton, who leads brand experiences at Walmart. "It won't replace our website or app, but will complement them."
Target's new low-cost brand Dealworthy is rolling out this month in stores and online. With items starting at under $1, it is aimed at budget-conscious shoppers. The low prices on basics like phone chargers, paper plates and underwear will likely appeal.
Walmart is growing the number of its physical stores across America. The retail giant announced plans to open 150 new U.S. stores over the next five years while remodeling 650 current locations. This ambitious plan shows Walmart is still confident in real stores, even with online shopping booming. The chain currently operates over 10,000 stores nationwide.
Popular Florida-based grocery chain Publix is venturing into uncharted territory - Kentucky. Come 2024, Publix will unveil its inaugural Bluegrass State locations, comprising six stores sprinkled between Louisville and Lexington.
