These folks are awesome. They performed a transmission fluid change on my 2020 Altima I set my appointment with them and met them right as they opened. I had an odd request but they did it. Spoke with me and answered my questions without any run around. They were quick to get back to me sooner than they said and my car feels amazing like off the lot. The price was awesome as well Thanks fellas you are S class people.

I received a good reference from a friend that Capital Transmission was one of the best,I called prior to having my vehicle delivered, they (Capital Trans) stated bring it in,and we will call you with in 2-3 days..Its been 5 days, I called on the 3rd day, they stated they would get back to me that evening..Nothing..the only reason Im giving them any stars is because of the recommendations by my friend..bad business people. Really all they had to say when I called was,Sorry were swamped were 2 to 3 weeks out,which is understandable..at that point I could of called another shop in the area...Towing can get expensive.!!

Had my clutch replaced they messed it all up. Put in wrong fluid (gear oil) instead of Honda specific clutch fluid. Jammed my input shaft into the throw out bearing where it wasn't sitting right and causing metal shavings which has since transferred into my transmission. Now my whole car is messed up. Worse place ever never going there again

They worked with my vehicles warranty’s
And I was driving in 2-3 days!
It’s been acouple weeks I’ve had it and she’s driving like a beaut! ?

I had a great experience working with these folks to get my transmission replaced. They answered all of my questions (without being patronizing) including letting me know that I had some time before I needed to get the repair done, they offered a range of pricing options for used transmissions, and they took care of the work promptly when I did bring my car in to get it done. I felt like they went above and beyond at each step. I hope I don’t have any more transmission problems so I’d rather not go back myself :) but I’d recommend them to anyone else needing work done!

Car was there for weeks, if they could have found a replacement transmission it would have cost me thousands. Turns out it was a clogged transmission filter. They didn't diagnose, just went straight to replace a very expensive trans. Heard good things about this place but that was almost a disaster for my wallet.Service: Transmission repair

Thank goodness this place is here. I saved a ton AND got a quality new transmission for my Ford E-350. As good quality as the best, and yet less expensive. This place is a secret resource of the Capital District, but spread the word, its too good to stay a secret. Save this place in your phone, when you get transmission "weird noises" call here first! Also, yes, a new remanufactured transmission and torque converter is a lot of money, but if you do the math, its a LOT cheaper than a new truck, even in the long run.Service: Transmission
