Good inventory, mix of fatface clothes and Greenport-branded clothes

This review is not completely about the Greenport store but more FATFACE policy. I received a catalogue with a 20% off code. I went to the Greenport store to try on the clothes I was interested in. I was told that because I did not have the code I could not get 20% off, which I understood. I went home and looked to order what I wanted online which unfortunately did not have my size. I called the store to purchase the item over the phone and provide the code. I spoke with the Asst. Manager and was told I could not purchase items over the phone, but would hold the item for me, which again I was fine with that policy. Then I was told I could not use the code because it was for online purchases only and I could see that in the fine print, which by the way is very fine print. I was told the day before that I could use the code and no caveat for using the code was provided at that time. When I spoke with the Asst. Manager and mentioned that all employees should be aware of that, she in essence blew me off. But, my mistake was in not reading that fine print. That mistake I own. I then called customer service and was told the same thing. I don't understand how FATFACE would rather not honor the code in lieu of not making a sale. I have shopped in other stores that honor catalogue codes. I understand this is FATFACE"s policy but it is a poor one. I am a brand new customer that ordered several things online, prior to speaking with the Asst. Manager and Customer Service, but I have now become an unhappy former customer in a few short days.

Love FatFace's clothes for both Men and Women. This is a very popular store in the UK that I was surprised and happy to find in the North Fork. Their clothes are relaxed and very wearable, often made of cotton, and last for years. Think a little more grown up than American Eagle, and a little less stuffy than J. Crew.

I really love this store and they have great deals! In particular a $70 paid of jeans on sale for $35! But what really brought me here to review, was their OUTSTANDING customer service. While shopping, I spotted those great pair of jeans and they unfortunately did not have my size. Their employee Paige, ensured I did not leave disappointed. She asked me for my shipping address and she voluntarily hunted down the jeans in my size from the Vermont store. Two weeks later, I called mentioning I didn’t receive them in the mail yet and Paige once again went out of her way to email/call to get the tracking number and from then, followed up with me every step of the way until just this morning when those jeans finally hit my doorstep! A big s/o to Paige for her positive uplifting attitude and continuous follow up!

They have some nice selections of clothes. The prices are a bit high for my taste, but they did have some good sales that I took advantage of.
