The Greenporter Hotel is a small and cozy place with a great, very convenient location perfect for walking to Main Street, the waterfront, and the train station. The staff are very nice, friendly, and go above and beyond to make guests feel like family. The peaceful environment includes clean, well-kept outdoor areas with a fireplace and fire pit. Amenities include a lovely bar, restaurant, coffee bar, pool, and lobby, with bikes available to explore. The rooms present a varied experience. Some are spacious, clean, well thought out, and lovely with renovations like new bathrooms and blackout curtains. Others are quite old, outdated, and dingy, with reports of strong mildew smells, sticky floors, and outdated furnishings. Not all rooms have a view or a coffee maker, and there is no free coffee or breakfast provided, though there are many breakfast options nearby. The hotel is noted for thoughtful safety touches in some rooms. It closes for the winter months and re-opens in the spring. Guests recommend specifically requesting a renovated room to match the hotel's lovely exterior and advertised experience.

I can’t say enough about the staff, and this amazing hotel. If I could give more stars I would. I will never stay anywhere else in greenport.

The staff was great and caring about our needs rooms were clean and spacious Raheem and staff made sure we had everything we needed. Can't wait to go back next year
