I stopped into Ray New York on a whim this past Saturday, to peek at the displayed pottery. As I turned to leave, the owner, Michael, called out to me. We chatted for a little while about the painting in progress in the gallery--he does his work right there--and he sent me home with a print! I'm no artist, but I like what I see. Michael's nautical themes and gradations of blue put my mind at ease. I hope you'll get a chance to stop in to Ray--I think you will find something that strikes your fancy!!

This shop is absolutely THE BEST! No longer am I scouring NYC for art. It's perfectly curated- when you walk in you want everything! Beautiful items at every price point. The owner (an artist) is exceptionally knowledgeable without ever being condescending. Customer service is amazing. Just entering the store makes one exceptionally happy. I keep coming back; I have purchased about a dozen items and thrilled with all of them.

I recently made a major purchase of a one-of-a-kind item from this shop. Michael was very pleasant and responsive to my questions about the item. When the item arrived, it had unfortunately suffered some damage during shipping. Michael immediately took steps to resolve the situation, maintained good communication with me about what was going on, and made sure that I was happy with the outcome. I later spoke with a local gallerist who said that the level of service that Michael provided far exceeded the industry standard. Michael will go out of his way to make sure you are a happy customer! Could I be any happier!? Greenport is blooming and the store Ray is such a great addition to the new stores that are changing the vibe of the Main Street. I love that is tucked off the main street, and I can really indulge in beautifully crafted pieces and clean design. So many pieces catch my eye and all seem affordable. The owner is a real gem, can't wait to get my next piece!
