The Menhaden is a gorgeous little hotel in a great area of Greenport, offering a fantastic and luxurious yet cozy experience. It is an outstanding boutique hotel with extremely clean, immaculately clean, spacious, and comfortable rooms. The beds are very comfortable and the showers are great. The amazing, wonderful, and attentive staff provides top-notch and helpful service, assisting with itinerary planning and local recommendations. The hotel features great amenities, including a great lobby, a hotel bar with specialty cocktails and a record player, and a rooftop deck with fire pits and a lovely view of the water. It is the only hotel in Greenport with a water view. There is also a great General Store with a coffee shop. A major highlight is the complimentary food and drink. Each floor has a Galley with a stocked fridge offering water, soda, juice, fruit, yogurt, and local snacks. There are fresh baked croissants in the morning and homemade chocolate chip cookies in the evening, alongside gourmet coffee and an assortment of teas. The hotel is very dog-friendly and walkable to all that downtown Greenport has to offer, including restaurants and bars. It is a peaceful oasis and a perfect first choice for accommodations on the North Fork.
Modern, perfect location, meticulously clean. Great attentive staff. The only thing I wish they would add would be some fresh fruit for breakfast and snacks. It was a perfect stay.

Great hotel. Staff couldn’t be nicer. Rooms are clean, bright, and have everything you need. Highly recommend this place Manager Mario pays attention to detail and goes out of his way to make sure every guest is well taken care of!
