Terrible customer service, particularly from the young short girl at the front desk. She does not seem to know anything about client support nor Equinox policies. Not sure whether it is due to her ignorance or to poor training by management. Either way, not worth the price tag for such poor customer service.

200-300 dollars for a mediocre gym lol what a joke. I did a walk through and didn’t even accept the free day pass. Lifetime is 100000x better and cheaper.

For 200-300$ membership you pay, you get the same service planet fitness gives you with 10$. The worst part about equinox is that they scam the members and they make them stuck with paying them for the whole year. If member wants to go on vacation, they don’t have a choice or if they don’t like the gym they don’t have an option. You still have to pay them even if you are away on vacation. They only freeze your membership for free if you have a doctor letter and even that is a headache. The pool is very dirty and I even tried other locations like great neck, it’s the same situation. They are very disrespectful and pushy with their customers. Their personal trainers are complete scam. They have this sessions to first brain wash clients about their BMI and they don’t even let you choose your own trainer. They have this tier system and so many rules over their trainers. The training session is 145$/ session but the poor trainer makes 15$ an hour. I read horror stories online about their training staff over worked and under paid. I don’t want to hire someone unhappy. I don’t wanna put any pressure on anyone like equinox does to their staff. It’s so sad. The showers are always full of hair. Showers have no lock. People have zero privacy in locker room. They don’t care about any feedback customers give them and they just ignore them.

I love this gym. I have been a member for a little less than a year. It's never crowded (though I usually go in the mornings) and I don't have to wait to use the equipment. The main workout area on the second floor is a little small, but the space is utilized well and it doesn't feel cramped. The trainers are awesome as well. Clean showers and facilities and friendly, mature folks who are there to just get it done.

Thank you Joe, the manager, for resolving a minor issue at the club!!! Joe took care of everything in a respectful and fashionable way. Highly recommend the Equinox Roslyn.

Just joined this gym and am absolutely loving it. Yes, it's not as big as other Equinox locations but given the space they have, they did a lot. I hope they can add other offerings like Pilates etc. I think the equipment is great. I went twice this week Didn't have to wait at all for the equipment. The people were fine. Started with a trainer and its been good so far. Definitely recommend doing the all access if you can not just the membership here. I live in NYC a lot too and definitely think the locations there are bigger in terms of space and equipment. They definitely push personal training here like as soon as you join. That may irk some to be honest. I knew upfront I wanted to see one pretty frequently so I was fine with it. Manager is a really great guy. Spoke with him at length and the personal training manager. Look forward to coming here now! Totally regret not joining years ago

Love this place. They gym is never too full, so one can always get a good workout in.

Needs much more equipment and a lot less high school kids taking up machines and not working out.

Not standing to equinox's standards. The floor is not clean. Equipment is very limited compared to other gyms. The part I find troubling the most is the management part, this branch is lacking a manager who listens to members requests, after being a member for 10 years and visiting most nyc clubs I definitely don't recommend joining this club.

Was visiting Roslyn and used the equinox for the day. Solid gym. Clean. Helpful staff.

I wouldn’t have issues with the old equipment or humidity if it wasn’t $180/month. The layout isn’t great. There are gyms in Syosset and Mineola that aren’t as fancy but have better layout, for $60-70/month. Unfortunately, this is probably the most underwhelming Equinox I’ve been to.

Every time I've visited this location it's been spotless, really easing my worries about working out during COVID. Management is doing a great job at making this club a pleasure to visit for a safe enjoyable work out. Can't recommend enough for those looking to get back in the gym.
