My daughter took lessons with her school and we continued with private lessons. She has grown from a not confident rider to a passionate and competent and confident rider. I've been impressed with the staff and the instructors. Everyone is very friendly. Fees are very reasonable.

I would completely recommend this place. As an advanced rider, I've seen my fair share of equestrian centers, none of which I would even tolerate. Whether it be they don't answer nor return my calls, a poor community, or borderline abuse, I haven't found much to offer on Long Island. North Shore Equestrian Center completely amazed me when I had shown up for a lesson. The place was down right gorgeous, and so were the horses. Stalls were huge, shavings clean, no horse was under or overfed, were happy and friendly, and the staff and community there was wonderful. They took my call and called me back not even fifteen minutes later - unlike the equestrian centers that I had previously checked out who sometimes took over two days to even return my call.My sister is a beginner rider, and although she was worked hard, it truly paid off. She was a better rider in no time and what had been difficult for her before was now a complete breeze - a warm-up in fact! It's an amazing equestrian center, and I would completely recommend it to anyone.

This place doesn't really have quality horses or instructors. Most horses are very tall, strong and really frisky. They take your money and take advantage of you. They don't even teach you how to take care and bond with the horses. I would never recommend this place.

I rode my first horse here for a college gym class, fell in love then joined the equestrian team that uses the facility 10 months later I absolutely love this place!! I was here at least 4 times a week during the semester 2 for lessons, then to say hi to some of my favorite horses. Now I am volunteering with there summer camp affiliated with luhi. I am handicapped and we have found great ways to work around my issues while still riding proper.Facilities are cleaner and nicer then many others on the island, and there's even a small deli if you where to need one.

Not a place for beginners. They were eager to take my money and threw my 8 y.o. daughter at a headstrong horse for her very first time and pushed her too aggressively so much that she ended her lesson 5 minutes early in tears. It is a wonderful facility and probably great for riders with some experience but they are too rough on beginners.
