I usually enjoy Paper Source, but my last visit was really uncomfortable. The manager was loudly yelling at employees in front of customers, which felt unprofessional and made it hard to shop. Hope they improve their management because the staff deserves better.

Every time, and I mean every single time, I wrap a gift in Paper Source paper, people comment on how beautiful the paper is. They also have very different? original? unique? cards.
And the staff is always so friendly. (Well, at least at the one I go to).

Very fun, cool stationery store. There's a wide selection of different stuff and is not limited just to stationery and greeting cards. They actually have the hidden secret stash of Lego - this store was the first place I've seen the Lego cat for sale, they had a rare Jaws set, and I'm sure a bunch of other hidden gems.
I very much enjoyed my time here and I do see myself returning in the future.
I would love to see some fountain pens and/or inks in here!

Love this store, great spot for unique and clever birthday cards or for any occasion. Also go here for my envelopes and stationary needs - I like writing my friends and it's so nice to make it fun. I like browsing the little self-care and kitschy gifts on display. Definitely no bargains here (my wallet asked me to dock it 1 star, sorry!!) But everything is quality.

The Paper Source has some very lovely, albeit expensive, single sheets of wrapping paper which I use for special occasions. The store is full of different novelty items and I enjoy browsing. What I find intolerable is the salesperson following you, stealthily, around the store as you search for something; I don't appreciate being hawked over as if I were a thief on the prowl.

The Worst Experience with Customer Service!!!I had an unpleasant experience today with the customer service at this store. The manager displayed extreme rudeness and unprofessionalism. During my visit, she loudly confronted another employee, who was assisting me learning how to tie a ribbon. The manager was screaming “that’s a service, make her pay. That’s a service” storming over and reprimanding the employee in a manner that I found highly inappropriate. Despite my purchase of $135 worth of cards, the manager’s attitude overshadowed any positive aspects of the visit.She should immediately be replaced!!I felt sorry for the way the employee was treated and returned the bow for a refund to avoid any further embarrassment.

I recently visited this location. I was met with people watching me everywhere I turned as if I was a threat to steal something. Also, I was charged for a bag without being asked. It's only 5 cents but it's the principle. Everything is overpriced.

Find unpleasant staff and over-priced goods appealing? Then run, don't walk! This is your place. In all fairness they do seem to have a decent inventory of birthday crap that no one really needs.

Recently, I stopped by Paper Source to have my item gift wrapped and I was very disappointed with the service to say the least. I was told initially that they were very busy and I should drop it off and leave it there. I was on my way to a closing and this was one of my gifts so it was not an option. We agreed that I would wait and they would wrap it eventually. Upon waiting for at least 30 minutes....there was traffic in the store but the majority of the customers were Happy Return customers. Another employee surfaced from the back and I asked her to help me with the wrapping and she just refused. The level of customer service at your Greenvale, NY store was horrible. It was obvious that the Paper Source customer was not the priority and the Happy Return customer was! If you are not equipped to handle your customers, then why would you take on third party vendors? I had to purchase a large bag and tissue paper and pretty much DO IT MYSELF. I wasted over an hour of my time when it could have been avoided. If you do nothing with my disappointment then I hope you do something with the next customer. It is a very poor reflection on Paper Source.

I was a little put off by the reviews initially and wasn’t sure if I should come. However I felt compelled to write this review because I had such an amazing experience here shopping for my invitation paper. Everyone asked if I needed help and was really nice and approachable (I like to browse alone and they were super respectful when I declined). Myself and the workers all chatted at the register at checkout and everyone was so sweet. I would 100% come back here again.
