Anyway my dad supposedly told us about this place years ago and our son would like it, but it wasn't until my hub's coworker told him about it did we say lets go! Took our son and y up he loved it. Got some yummy cookies, tried the cider, and debated strawberry milk but nah. Also of course tried their ice cream which is good. We'll probably come back around halloween, maybe they'll have some kind of chocolate milk or I heard it's cool for the holiday :P”

“After seeing a couple of posts on Instagram, we decided to check out Sansone Market in Garden City Park. While it's not a huge space it is loaded with lots of Italian products. Everything from packages of sweets to canned goods to fresh cheese and meat to pizzas. The back of the store has a long deli counter that has a bunch of made to order sandwiches to choose from along with some premade food. There is even a cheese counter with tons of options. Their freezer section includes items like pizza, ravioli and even bake your own sfogliatelle. Then you come upon the pizza counter. Fresh made 12" pizza is available Wednesday through Sunday. We brought a Marinara pizza home, the crust was lovely and the sauce had a great freshness to it. They also had a bunch of items premade that we couldn't pass up on. The Picante Stromboli was divine. Filled with grilled chicken, broccoli rabe and spicy peppers. It was so delicious. The zucchini pie was sort of a frittata and it was heavenly. They also offer coffee and a small display of baked items like cookies and cannoli. The front of the store has some tables where you can enjoy your purchases if you wish. Sansone Market is a little slice of Italy right on Jericho Turnpike.”

“I had to go take my mother shopping and this is one of her favorite stores. I had to add a fun fact...if your helping out your parents in their 70s and 80s....this is the only place around that sells spiced ham (yak) I was standing on the line and literally every single order was for spiced ham....every single one of them a senior citizen. It just made me laugh. Staff is pleasant and helpful and the place is one of the nicer King Kullens I have been in. Overall it was an amusing trip...I def got a laugh!”

“My favorite market! I never leave yelp reviews but I feel compelled to share my experience. I am a new mom and I have only been food shopping with my new baby twice and both times the cashiers at holiday farms insisted on loading my items onto the conveyor belt for me (despite me saying that wasn't necessary) and both times the cashiers also insisted on assisting me out to my car and loading my groceries for me. It might not seem like a big deal but these acts of kindness really helped me. Holiday farms has always been my favorite market and even more so now! Small acts of kindness go a long way :)”

“This is the best supermarket in the area. All the reasons you can imagine. Clean, well stocked, well staffed, fair prices. But why is this the best? I have many reasons. But I'll give you one. Pork belly. I wanted to try burnt ends in my smoker but needed a full slab with little fat and couldn't find it anywhere. I called Holiday Farms and they brought it in for me. And it came out great. Even had the perfect spices for it.”
