About Christ the King Center
Christ the King Center offers serene, scenic trails and beautiful vistas on its private property. Visitors must sign in at the Welcome Center kiosk or with a visitor pass. The grounds feature a disc golf course, with a front nine around the church buildings and a back nine in the woods, along with tennis and a climbing wall. Welcoming structures and an outdoor covered veranda provide comfort. The site hosts many events and a returned Tuesday lunch buffet, fostering comradery.
This Episcopal-run retreat center in rural Washington county is a gem. I went there several times with my teenage sons' church youth group for weekend retreats precovid. I recently went to a contemplative day retreat and rediscovered what a peaceful and welcoming place this is.

We really appreciate that this place allows visitors because they have a nice disc golf course. Just fill out a visitor pass on their website. Front nine are out in the open around the church buildings. Back nine are in the woods and uniquely layed out and lots of fun to play.
