“This place is amazing! Full of delicious cheeses, meats, cute merchandise, and yummy unique sweets and drinks. The best part though is that the people that work there are absolutely astounding. They are full of so much knowledge about the cheeses they have and they are incredibly helpful and friendly. And I have found so many new delicious cheeses I love as a result. If I did not live over a thousand miles away I would visit this place daily until I have a chance to try everything they offer.”
“My wife and I stopped in to purchase some tequila. We found this establishment to be very charming and had a fantastic conversation regarding the store and many things tequila. Both the lady and the young man were engaging and welcoming. The selection of unique spirits and containers were intriguing enough to draw you in to look at every item. A must see stop. “Oliver's Beverage in Albany is an in-the-know type booze and wine store. It's best in the summer. The shelves are expertly marked by region and by category. Find German beer, soda, small bottle shooters, whiskey cask beer, French wines, Italian whites, 6 packs, singles and even a fountain (that I have not tried out yet) to fill beer-growlers with that good Winter Lager or IPA. It's a very large shop and it would be nice if there were (it's a Yelp tip Oliver's..) a place for pregnant moms and old folks to sit: inside or outside. The prices are a bit on the higher end but you find oddities and some nifty finds, only here. Pretty good assortment. Review: 5”

“A nice little wine shop with a great selection of wines! The selection isn’t huge but they make up for that in the quality of what they sell. I don’t know much about wine, so I pick my usual price point, location of the vineyard and then pick whatever bottle looks the coolest. So far I haven’t been disappointed using this process here! The staff is also always friendly and helpful as well. Highly recommend”
“This store has different names depending on where you search. The sign over the door says "Westmere Wine and Spirit." On Google you'll find both "Westmere Wine & Liquor" and "Westmere Liquor Store," and here on Yelp, it's also "Westmere Liquor Store." But they're all the same place, at 1810 Western Avenue. For a relatively small space, it's amazing how much they carry and just how well organized it is. The wines dominate the middle aisles. On the right, you have some New York State wines, and you've also got Asian selections, including a large variety of Sake. On the left, you have your liquors, and these are competitively priced. Plus, given how close it is to my home, it's very convenient for me.”

“This place used to be just OK. In the past few years they have started to really boost their craft beer selection and now its without a doubt the best place to get good craft beer in the Glenville area. My only complaint? They keep all their craft selection at room temp. If they could put it all into fridges I would give this place 9 stars out of 5.”

“Favorite little neighborhood wine store. Can't believe their rating isn't a solid 5-stars across the board. Staff is knowledgeable, friendly, FUNNY and they remember you/your selections/your preferred wines. Nice little rewards program too, so every now and then you get $5 bucks off. They also now deliver which makes it almost too convenient :) and their tastings are fun. Great small business to support.”

“Plaza 7 is a family-run liquor store in the Plaza 7 Commons located right next to Galleria 7 Market, which is quite convenient. If I were getting take-out from anywhere in Galleria 7 or nearby, I'd certainly stop in here to get a bottle of wine or two to go with my meal, and there's a small cooler in the back with some already-chilled wines. It's not a large store, and the size is reduced a bit more by the center aisle being an "employees only" area. So they're forced to pick and choose what they sell, and I think they made good choices. As you walk in, the wines are on the right, very well organize, with competitive prices. Liquor and liqueurs will be on the left, with a significant assortment of whiskeys. Prices are reasonably competitive here. Service is friendly, I was greeted as soon as I walked in.”

“I love going here! They carry my favorite wine. I went here and they were having a tasting. Tried tequila from Maine. Was delicious! The staff is always so friendly and helpful! I love the owner and seeing him, always so friendly! Shawn is so friendly too! Everyone who works here is always so great and friendly! Very well stocked with a great selection.”
