“This place is ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL!The selection is superb, the freshness of their stock, the staff everything is everything you are looking for a neighborhood cheese shop.The cured meats section is nothing so miss either.Prepare to spend at least 30/40 to leave with a full bag but that’s not always the case as it’s all fairly priced.I moved to the area recently and places like this making me feel more than at home.Albany is blessed to have this place!”

Both the lady and the young man were engaging and welcoming. The selection of unique spirits and containers were intriguing enough to draw you in to look at every item. A must see stop. “When I moved to the Albany area from Dutchess County, I knew one of the places I would miss the most was Half Time. This store took care of any angst I might have had. The selection is almost as good overall, and better when you take into consideration all of the New York State beers available, especially upstate (I had no idea there were so many new breweries in the Glens Falls area, for example). It's very well organized as well. Whenever my beer-enjoying friends are in the area, this is a must-stop.”

“This is a great liquor store with very knowledgeable staff/ owners. If you are looking for hard to find Bourbons and Whiskey's this is the place for you. They have an outstanding selection of Blanton's many of which are not sold in the US. Prices are competitive and service is great!. If you like spirits or are into designer bottles, then do not miss shopping at this location.”

“Oliver's Beverage in Albany is an in-the-know type booze and wine store. It's best in the summer. The shelves are expertly marked by region and by category. Find German beer, soda, small bottle shooters, whiskey cask beer, French wines, Italian whites, 6 packs, singles and even a fountain (that I have not tried out yet) to fill beer-growlers with that good Winter Lager or IPA. It's a very large shop and it would be nice if there were (it's a Yelp tip Oliver's..) a place for pregnant moms and old folks to sit: inside or outside. The prices are a bit on the higher end but you find oddities and some nifty finds, only here. Pretty good assortment. Review: 5”

“With a location convenient to the everyday traveler and one of the largest selections I have ever seen I highly recommend to any one living close by to purchase here instead of traveling a further distance to something more familiar.Since they in fact have most of if not all common varieties and some rare of liquors and wines.Vodka, gin, baijiu, tequila, rum, whisky, brandy, singani and soju are examples of distilled drinks that are here. Wine and cider are examples of fermented drinks that can also be found at this location.”

“A nice little wine shop with a great selection of wines! The selection isn’t huge but they make up for that in the quality of what they sell. I don’t know much about wine, so I pick my usual price point, location of the vineyard and then pick whatever bottle looks the coolest. So far I haven’t been disappointed using this process here! “This is such a nice liquor store. I’ve been once before, and the man working was very nice. The decor in the place is also super cool. I think today when I went the owner was there. In the past few years they have started to really boost their craft beer selection and now its without a doubt the best place to get good craft beer in the Glenville area. My only complaint? They keep all their craft selection at room temp. If they could put it all into fridges I would give this place 9 stars out of 5.”
