“So grateful for the entire staff at ACVH. A few years ago my senior dog that already has mobility issues stopped being able to move at all, my vet at the time couldn't see him and said they might not be able to help. We called ACVH and they got him in asap. They changed up his meds and put him on a monthly shot. We also started laser therapy same day and the combo of everything made a difference immediately. The regimen they put him on changed his quality of life and I couldn't be more grateful.
Everyone there is so friendly and accommodating, especially since my dog is extremely fearful of both humans and other animals. Even though he was always shy during his visits, he would actually take treats from the techs which has never happened before!
Love them and would recommend them to anyone!”

“I’m in absolute awe of how amazing Kelinde and the staff are with my pets. I started coming to Demlar about a year ago after leaving my previous vet for poor practices. I have a reactive dog and two cats, one who is very much a scardy cat! They have been truly wonderful (specifically Kelinde) every step of the way. Not only are they great with all my pets they also take the time to truly hear your concerns and educate you. They aren’t all about money and care more about the well being of your loved ones. They’re also very accommodating to my busy schedule and anytime I have a question. I couldn’t recommend them more!!”

“Dr Hernas and her entire staff are just wonderful. They all seem to be devout animal lovers who genuinely care. I’ve been taking my 5 lb tiny, sensitive, toy poodle Dominique there since she was a puppy, now 12 years. Dr. Hernas diagnosed Dominique with Epilepsy when she was five during a very stress-filled period of difficult to describe seizures. Dr. Hernas and her staff and continue to monitor her and as a result, it’s been very controlled ever since. I’ve known Dr. Hernas before using her veterinary services and am here to tell you that her compassion for animals along with her skilled medical and surgical experience is second to no one. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!”

“The staff here is incredible. Any beef I have with Banfield is with corporate.
But here specifically, they provide immaculate care and competence.
We unfortunately had to put our cat down last week due to sudden onset encephalitis exacerbated by his FIV.
But during the year we’d been bringing him here, they showed him care and kindness, actively recalling him and doing their best for him when he had other issues. They were also very friendly and attentive with us.
General warning of Banfield corporate: if you do their wellness plan and your pet passes, you’re still locked into a contract for the full year.”
“I came in today for my dog Zola, the front desk lady’s were very nice. They have pretty birds there as well. I was surprised with how quick they got me in. I called about my dog this morning and they got her in by the afternoon. The doctor was super nice and informative. Appointment lasted no more then 30 minutes. I am definitely coming back if I ever need too, great pricing as well. I couldn’t be any happier. 10/10! I’ll recommend to friends”

They provided an estimate of services so I knew what everything would cost. The facility was very clean and everyone was so nice!”

“I was very appreciative that Dr. Taksir was available on Sunday of a holiday weekend to first guide me by phone, then create an appointment within a few hours to see my cat. He was very upfront about costs and options I could pursue and allowed me time to think about it before making decisions. He and staff were kind and he did his best to assess my cat's issue (my cat is not cooperative). The office is a bit outdated but that was insignificant to the speed in which I was given an appointment and service (the other Albany Animal Hospitals open on Sunday had 10 hour waiting periods). I would recommend Dr. Taksir!”

“My cat is a feisty orange male tabby, but he calms down once he’s settled in at JustCats. All staff are wonderful — I’ve had nothing but positive experiences in the last 9 years. My cat has had annual checkups, routine lab work and a major dental exam and teeth removal (all but three teeth!) and every exam, procedure and follow up appointments have always been completed with care by all staff. They truly love cats!”
