Hague Town Beach Park is a small, clean, and inviting beach on Lake George, known for its crystal-clear, spring-fed waters. Visitors enjoy relaxing by the lake with plenty of space to sit and beautiful views. The park offers amenities such as clean bathrooms, a playground for kids, and a picnic area. Lifeguards are on duty at certain times, ensuring safety for swimmers. There is also free kayak and boat launch access for town residents. The park hosts various recreational activities, including live performances and fireworks during the 4th of July celebration. It is a peaceful spot perfect for enjoying nature, with opportunities for swimming, paddling, and simply relaxing by the lake.
We go there once a year for the Lake George Open Water Swim, and always say “we should come back again”, as it is a well managed park with lots of space to sit, a nice beach, and, of course, Lake George, which is crystal clear and spring fed.
