“We are so grateful to the crew here! While on our vacation we experienced some car trouble when my husband's engine kept overheating. The mechanics here were truly so kind and honest throughout the entire process. We were really blown away and during a stressful time we just kept saying how grateful we were that we were nearby when the car trouble started, because we felt so well taken care of. We almost had to tow the truck home which would have been easily over $1,000.. but by a miracle another mechanic (I believe named James) took a look at things and assured us he would be able to fix it. After just a short while, the truck was back up and running.. and luckily we were able to enjoy the rest of our trip and most importantly made it home safely. I truly can't say enough good things about this place.. they really went out of their way to help us and were very patient, honest, and reasonable throughout the process. Highly recommend!”

“Was in Hunter on vacation and Pete's came to the rescue. We had a nail in our tire and needed a fix, fast. Devon went above and beyond to get us a tire in a timely manner. They could've overcharged us for the job but the price was fair and honest. If we were local this would be our go to repair shop. I can't thank Pete's team enough for such a great experience while on vacation in a emergency!”

“Gallagher's Garage is amazing! I did not use their mechanic shop, so I can't comment on that, but their tow service was the best I have ever come across!I ran into mechanical trouble on my way home to NJ from Hudson, NY. It was 19 degrees out and I had to get home, so I decided to just pay the tow overages through my insurance company. Gallagher's was the top tow company in the area according to USAA, and I now know why. I planned to just leave the car, but Joshua showed up in less than 45 minutes.He clearly has been doing this for a while. He was super professional and was very knowledgeable. He loaded my car up with no problems for a 2 hour long haul ride. About 30 minutes after I got home in northern NJ my car was here. He unloaded the car in the driveway, and parked it perfectly so I could deal with my car at a later date.If I did not immediately have to get home I probably would have tried out their mechanical shop. If I ever need another random tow or mechanical work in that area, they will be my first call! I really cannot express just how fortunate I was to get a driver like Joshua. Thank you Joshua and Gallagher's Garage for making a very stressful and intense situation a breeze! A+”

“These guys are so honest and kind. The battery on my truck died and after a friend jumped it, they told me to head straight to AutoZone without turning the truck off, and that AutoZone would sell me a battery & replace it. Well, they sold me a battery then said they weren't comfortable swapping them out. They recommended a nearby shop but, once I drove there, that shop refused to install someone else's battery and wanted to charge me over $700 which seemed really fishy.So I was stuck with a $200 battery and a truck I couldn't turn off. Gave someone else a call and they recommended E. Mower & Son. These mechanics couldn't have been nicer. They saw the bind I was in and took care of me right away at a more-than-reasonable price. I was so blown away and I can't recommend this place enough!”

“Can't say enough about Steven and Steyer's Auto and their office staff. We were traveling to the Catskills, 200 miles from home, when our tire pressure was dropping. When we pulled off the Turnpike for air, we heard hissing coming from the tire.
We found (thankfully) Steyer by chance. A person driving a truck at the gas station (where we got air) literally drove us pass Steyer's so they could assist us. Wish we had his name to add.
Steven found the problem, assisted us quickly and we were on our way!!
