With the highly aggressive competition from private firms with huge corporate funds, we appreciate that a taxpayer funded government institution is subject to budget cuts, and often local Post Offices are not given the manpower they require to keep up with the demand on their staff. “I always ship my packages from this location. I have never had a problem. Great staff and Great service. Sometimes there is a line but, it goes quickly. There are plenty of parking spaces in the lot.”

She manually postmarked and then she also assisted me with additional postage to ensure that they would not go through machine and/or be returned or ruined. Nahed was very knowledgeable!”

“This is an incredible building for a post office but I'm very concerned about the ceiling falling down the town really needs to come together and raise money for them to get it repaired for the history and for the countiue use of the building by the USPS”

The people who work here never help solve anything. I need a refund and to fill out a form for it, and they refused to help me at all. They always say they don't know or that it can't be done. When I call and speak to a USPS agent, they send me to the address where I sent the mail. When I get there, no one is available to help. They only receive packages, and they deny you anything else you need... horrible!! I've been fighting for a package for 3 months, and in the end, I'll lose my package and the international shipping money because they won't help...”
“I can't understand the negative feedback from others, but I find Northport PO staffed by the nicest and helpful window clerks. Sure, every now and then there's a line of 5 or more - just wait. It's something people are capable of doing.
If you people hate this place so much, go to the UPS Store and get charged 5 times as much. (They have lines, too)”

“Large Post Office with a very large parking lot. Roomy and comfortably air conditioned inside. Two tellers on duty, and the line moved quickly. Our teller was polite, knowledgeable, patient and friendly. All free boxes and envelopes were packed in abundant quantities. Post offices boxes available. An efficient location.”

I was a couple of minutes late to ship a package and they were already closed. However, a super helpful young man still scanned my lable barcode and printed the lable I needed for my package! Saved me an exta trip back! Thank you!”
“Who goes to post office anymore but sometimes you have to I’ve been here to drop aparcels for Amazon and mainly we’ve been here for the kids passports. The staff here was very friendly with us when they did the passport application. pictures always take time so you have to go through the pain of taking the pictures again and again and again, but They were very patient with us. My children are blind some of them and it is hard to position them for the passport pictures but these people were very cooperative and I’m very thankful to them.”
“Anthony is awesome. He is always so nice and helpful whenever I am helped by him at the counter. I don’t have to visit the post office frequently but whenever I do I am usually helped by Anthony and these encounters are always pleasant. Yes, there can be long lines at times but they do the best they can with the staffing they have.”
