Being a family of color I was very nervous about sending my daughter to daycare just from hearing past stories from coworkers and friends but A leap in learning has been nothing short of amazing! My daughter absolutely loves her teachers! They are so attentive, gentle, caring and loving towards my daughter and all the other kids, it’s truly heart warming. My daughter is learning so quickly and I owe that to all the staff at ALIL! I have no complaints! Thank you so much to Jessie, Abby, Morgan, Steph and all the other staff that does such an amazing job with our kids. I highly recommend this daycare, you won’t regret it!

My daughter has been attending since she was 1, my son since he was 3 months old. I love the staff, and so do my children. They have dealt with the covid pandemic responsibly and found a way to stay open for essential workers to bring there children. They helped assist with my daughter getting services she needed for speach. They have helped me with questions on methodology of parenting for both my children with positive results. I have only had 2 issues of concern ever and both were quickly resolved to my satisfaction. I have and will continue to recommend ALIL to others.

My kids love this place, it’s always a challenge to get them to leave. The team at this establishment are always professional and responsive to questions or requests I may have. My daughter had a harder time then my son at adjusting and on her third day she walks right in no crying or anything. Clean, safe and amazing staff, I would recommend to anyone looking for a new place for their child to learn but have fun while doing so.

I love A Leap in Learning daycare for my toddler. She has learned so much, and has a fun day when she goes. The staff are professional and great with my daughter. They made the daycare/work transition a good one for us!

No open line of communication with parents and between each other. The owner Sherry puts on a persona that she is your best friend, when in fact she turned out to be rude, VERY unprofessional and money hungry. When issues arise she only hears what her staff has to say and gets argumentative instead of being perceptive and adapting to changes. I brought issues to the director’s attention and turned out that I was a topic of gossip afterward with staff and the owner. One issue is that they constantly asked for diapers and wipes when it felt like I just gave them some, so I started keeping track of when I hand them in so I knew the exact date so I felt comfortable questioning where they’re all going since they shouldn’t be going through them in a week. Turns out they were misplacing supplies or using on other children. Said something to director in a polite way so that she was aware of what was happening. Instead of understanding where I was coming from the teacher now would put a count on the daily report of how many wipes and diapers used. I just did not want them wasted, I was made to look like an obsessive person. While picking up my child, I constantly witnessed the children not being cared for properly by one of the teachers. One child would be standing on a metal chair, another biting a dirty mat, and babies crying and not being comforted. My son came home a few times with a bruise or mark on his face. I didn’t say anything the first couple times since I didn’t want to look like I always complained but finally questioned the next incident. I called the center and was told that an incident report was not filled out, then after requesting one I noticed the story of the incident differed from what they verbally said happened. The main reason that we cut ties with this center was because of the treatment and actions of the owner. I confronted her on a policy concern and was scolded like child, talked down to and shown no respect. A professional business person would have handled this in a more appropriate manner and not lost her temper and ridiculed me. The owner’s response is always combative and defensive. All the past things that her director told her about and threw them in my face saying “I always complain and to go elsewhere,” when I responded that I did not call to get a snippy attitude her response was immaturely yelling “hang up on me…” As a loving parent, I have every right to say something if there is an issue when it comes to the welfare of my children because it involves our children’s growth, development, wellbeing and comfort. These are just a few very valid issues brought to their attention, when others were witness and ignored. I tried to give this facility some slack as this center was new with a new director and new employees. In the end, I was a fool for dealing with them for over two years, I found out the hard way the she has no sense of loyalty or respect.
