Have always had helpful customer service on routine banking and when calling in with questions. Only negative is the touch screens on the ATMs need to touch more than once for them to register.

I am a long-time customer and have generally had an okay (but not great) experience with Key Bank. However, I have found that I cannot trust the ATM or the people at the branch at 5510 Camp Road. The branch's ATM ate two of my checks, malfunctioned shortly after (thank goodness, I was able to get my debit card back), and then the bank claimed that they never received the deposit! Can you imagine? It's captured on the ATM video for goodness sake. After filing a dispute, I now have to put a stop payment on the checks and clean up their mess. Not cool, Key Bank. I am "checking" into other banks now. If I could give a "0" I would, because that's the 0 for the checks they lost, damaged, or put in the wrong account.

Has put a hold or freeze on an account , won't allow us to put money in, but has continued to allow money coming out- including over draft fees. Numerous phone calls for nearly a WEEK and it's still not resolved! Choose any other bank!

An employee wouldn't notarize a document for me because I had just moved and gotten married. So my bank account still had my maiden name. My license had my old address. I had my marriage certificate and husband sitting next to me. She was hung up on my two addresses for some reason even though my husband had the mortgage to our house because we were going to register kids for school. She should have called a supervisor. BTW, the school system took the same documents no problem, AND city hall gave me my child's birth cert on the spot but Key Bank can't notarize a form. I was a First Niagara customer for over ten years and this is the first time I've been treated so poorly. A customer for half my life and it's not like I was withdrawing money. I was also told that my legal name change court order was not a form of identification. Which it is in cases where I need to prove my birth name. But not in this case....First Niagara changed that for me long ago. She didn't even need it!
