Our mail delivery was unexpectedly stopped because the carrier assumed our house was vacant after looking through the window. While we are in the process of moving, we have been checking our mail daily and are fully capable of setting up mail forwarding when ready.
As a result of this assumption, important items—including my paycheck and my daughter’s medications—are now lost. Even the postmaster has been unable to explain why this happened or help us locate them.
We are incredibly frustrated and disheartened by this situation. No one should make assumptions about mail delivery, especially when it involves critical items.

Update: They lost my package. Although I'm not surprised, I am beyond frustrated as I couldn't get a hold of the post office directly, had to speak to a bot over the phone, and then an agent at a call center. Now the package will not be there in time. This was a child's birthday gift.This place is so awful, everyone who works here is completely incompetent. Mail goes to the neighbors constantly and vice versa. Packages arrive damaged or don't arrive at all. Fortunately I don't live in the area anymore but just the other day I attempted to send a birthday gift to a family member of mine in the area and the package "failed to deliver". They do this all the time, but this has caused problems now because the family member happens to be a child and I live hours away. The parent they live with is unable to pick up the package. Now I have to contact them. Can't wait to see what I have to deal with, as I'm reading other reviews. On another occasion when I did live in the area, I got the same neighbors mail for an entire week, maybe even longer. This neighbor lived directly across the street. I didn't mind moving it but I had a feeling the postal worker was being lazy and was doing it on purpose, as this started becoming a regular occurence. I finally stopped moving the mail wrote the mail carrier a note, as I find that to be ridiculous. Then all of the sudden, I stopped getting that neighbors mail. Although I can't say for sure, I'm positive that that proved just how lazy the carrier is. I am extremely unimpressed.

Never can get my mail, my mail goes to all my neighbors luckily they give it to me I have complained multiple times nothing is done! Now my mail is getting sent back to senders and I'm being contacted because they say my address is wrong when it's not freaking wrong, I shall complain again and deal with the rude attitudes god I hate being rude but come on this would be the 3rd complaint this is going on for months now!

I went into the post office this afternoon because my tracking for my package said “delivery failed”. My hope was that if I went in around 4 on my way out I could pick it up there. The woman behind the counter (crystal I think) got an attitude with me right away, demanding my name, challenging why I was there in the first place and overall trying to make it look like I was in the wrong. Going as far to showing her my phone with the USPS informed delivery service and the tracking update, did little to inform her why I was there and she ultimately had enough of me and just gave me paper to write my name on. At the end of the day, whoever was driving the truck said they attempted a delivery when I was home all day, and when I simply go to pick it up they make a huge stink about it instead of just being polite. I would have happily waited until tomorrow. Instead I just left upset and angry with no package.

Usually I am please with my visit. However, a few weeks ago, there was a woman behind the counter named Crystal. You may wonder why I waited a few weeks to post this.... I don't like leaving bad reviews. However, I am still angry over how myself and other people were treated by her that day. She was rude and it seemed angry that she had to help people. The cc machine wasn't working so she had to remind everyone to use the buttons instead of the screen. OK. Then, I had a few small packages and she made a big deal about that making sure to tell the people behind me that they should have brought chairs because it was going to take so long. It took 5 MINUTES for my packages. It would have been a shorter time if she hadn't made a stink about a small one I had. She was trying to say it was too small?? No other PO I've gone too has ever even mentioned that. I think this woman deserves to make a NICE, SINCERE apology to the Hamilton citizens.

This place has possibly the most incapable and inefficient service providers. I came in 40 minutes before close time because usually the package I need to be sent takes around 20 minutes. They simply cannot get the address right. Spent 20 minutes typing up an address and continuously complained about me coming in too late and not being considerate for their work time. Rediculous. Wasting my time and blaming me for their inabilities.
