Nice location. Beautiful setting right next to Lake Ontario. The cottage we stayed was nice though the 2 bathrooms were insufficient for the number of bedrooms and occupants. Service was minimal since we had to bring our own bedsheets, pillow cases, towels, etc. We used the cottage only for gathering and sleeping since we spent most of our time exploring the greater area.

When they say ‘a little slice of heaven’, they’re not kidding. My family has stayed at the historic big green house for the past two years. The home is incredible and so very charming. It has plenty of room to sleep 10 in actual beds, no pullouts or bunk beds. Although it doesn’t have air conditioning, you don’t need it with the lake breezes. Plus, there are ceiling fans in every room. You spend every morning and evening on the porch, enjoying the lake breeze and the breathtaking sunsets. We fished off the pier for perch every day. It was so relaxing. The pool is huge and very clean. We were in it daily. There is also a great game room with a pool table, ping pong table and darts. They have horseshoes, a bocce court and two tennis courts. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this beautiful home to anyone. We will definitely be back next year.

This land was for poor low income children to go to camp and eat and learn, who got the money from selling, dividing, building high end lake cotrages for homes to sell or rent for profit? Do the children get anything or did it get done in a way that seems oddly wrong? So i notice and am looking to see.. strange.. what about the children?
