Today 9/25/2023 the cardiac department gave me two conflicting answers to questions I had about the safety of a Nuclear stress test 6 months after my cancer operation. They gave two different answers which is Medical Error. a leading causer of death in the United States, therefore I cannot proceed with this unsafe facility. Not the first time this hospital and their Harris campus has made mistakes. The other veterans coming for care through the Community Care Network need to take special care when visiting this place for any test or procedure's.The staff hung upon me when I pointed out their error, I will be reporting to the board of medical professions.

14 JUL 2023 Sad to note the failure of Garnet Healthcare in Harris NY in providing the basic efficiency with patient's dignity at the time of discharge as would be expected from a company that claims to be improving the otherwise checkered history of that troubled but vital Central Catskill hospital building. Having gone through the discharge process easily and smoothly in former days, I was disappointed to now find myself waiting far too long, unable to file seemingly mandatory forms on patient property loss, complaints about unfair confiscation of patient property and the seeming inability of the staff on duty to provide any help to the patient to get themselves cleaned up and on the street after an otherwise professional medical treatment with careful care. Sad. One star. Fred Billings 15 July 2023.

Garnett Catskill Regional Hospital in Harris has been attempting to murder their patients. Their x-rays are completely unreliable. Please avoid completely.Montefiore Nyack is the closest usable hospital.

This hospital would hit a 5 stars at all time if the ER change . I remembered my grandson going there about 4 months ago and he waited 6 hours . I was in agony with my back and I waited so long . It took a nurse to come in at 730 in the morning when she started her shift to ask me how was I and I told her I was in so much pain with my back and that woman came and gave me an i jection and my pain went away in an instant . I don't remembered her name but I never forgot her . ER MUST CHANGE their way

I love my cardiologist Dr. Patel. My appointments are quick and the tests are also fast.

If they cared anywhere near as much about the patient as they do the copay it might not be a total loss. 2 hours with no contact, just waiting for someone to help anyone in the waiting room. Do not bring anyone you actually care about to this ER.

Unfortunately, Thursday evening, I had to make use of the services provided by the emergency department. I am so impressed. The doctors, nurses, x-ray techs, and other personnel were wonderful. All were professional, kind, patient and knowledgeable. They explained everything that they were doing to help me. Thank you to all.

This is prob the worst hospital I’ve ever been to they don’t care about you as a person and everyone is looked at as a drug seeker cause it’s a poor area. I hope they shut down nobody should be treated the way I was

I was in here in 2014 twice and the fires time they where great but the second they where horrible to me. Treated me worse then like inmate in jail. From what I hear they are bad now. I would try somewhere else first.

They killed my mother by not paying attention that she pulled off her bipap machine at night not once but twice even pulled out her vent.she was doing better so they moved her to a room that night she pulled it off while sleeping god only knows how long it was off until her heart monitor went off that her heart stopped. Shortages on nurses because of our awful president This could have been avoided since they knew she was prone to pulling her mask off at night.i blame them for killing the most important person in my life.

Me and my daughter visited this hospital while we were on vacation.we are from PA. Unfortunately she ended up getting her eye hurt and it swelled up over night and we had no choice but to go to the hospital. Now unfortunately I lacked to do research because we woke up and seen her eye and panicked. So I put "hospital" into my GPS and this place was first on the list. So we head over and go to the er dept.... Now I guess because of covid the er dept check in was OUTSIDE! They had everyone sitting in the blazing heat which I found crazy! But hey maybe that's how it's done out of state... so we get all checked in and they take us in to this tiny room that definitely did not look like a typical hospital er. But again we are out of state so I assume this is how they operate. We see a nurse who comes in and looks at her eye and tells me it could be from a range of things and prescribed an antibiotic and walked out. She was in there for 5 mins. Ok whatever as long as my child got the medication she needed. Now as I have said we are from PA and have medical assistance. So everything "should" have been covered. Until I got this weird undescriptive bill in the mail from "embcc" for $600!!! So I call my insurance company to make sure an out of state er visit should be covered to which they said absolutely!! They called this "embcc" company and find out the doctor billed it as a "primary care" doctor! Even my insurance company was very confused... so I do some research about embcc and it brings me to the better business bureau website how hundreds of people claim the same thing has happened to them and they went to the hospital and got this same outrageous bill in the mail. So I do research on this horrible hospital we went to, and found a tab for "how will I be billed" and sure enough there is a small description that you may get 2 Bills! The doctors dont actually work for the hospital! Now that would have been very wonderful if they made their patients aware of this in person rather their tiny description on the website that took me forever to find!!! I feel like this is taking extreme advantage of people that come here for an "emergency" as they are not looking for this tiny fine print om their website and get charged ASTRONOMICAL amounts of money for "level of care" they believe the patient recieved... which all the reviews said they recieved horrible service... how is this even legal??? They should be telling you how the run their very sketchy so called hospital when you check in.

This place is HELL ON EARTH!If I could rate this 0 STARS I would. The of lack care, covid percaution, and humanity is non-existent. I waited in the ER waiting room for over 2 hrs for patient information (with MULTIPLE patient's symptomatic of covid). Only for Debbie to rudely tell me (as nxt of kin) I was not allowed any information regarding the person I went to see and to continue waiting in the ER till said person regains consciousness can call me. Go anywhere else but here. Save the life of your loved ones!

I would give zero stars if I could. My 1 year old baby saw Dr. Gutierrez and he was beyond rude and unprofessional. The staff was extremely rude as well. They made a 1 year old and 3 year old wait 2.5 hours and then the doctor had the audacity to accuse a mother of not caring for her child. Completely unprofessional. The medical staff really needs to learn how to speak to people and respect others.

I went to the er. i am in a wheelchair and i cannot tolerate being in the chair for long. they took my name and i had to beg to be in a bed while they ignored me for almost an hour. the place was practically empty. finally they brought me back and forcefully put me in a bed which was horribly painful. then ignored me again for at least an hour which was fine once i was out of the chair. they were very nice but i could not call for a nurse because the call system was broken. everything was ok except the being ignored par until the night shift came on. the people on the night shift were so nasty and mean i was in shock. they had treated me by then but were obviously trying to push me out of the door. being in a wheelchair i came by ambulette and they tried tp send me home in a regular car which i am not able to do. i had told them many times i needed an ambulette but the night shift people were acting like they were angry that i was still there bothering them. they said they could not get an ambulette until morning{it was 4:30 already) so i would have to wait until then to leave. they wanted me to sit in my wheelchair in the waiting room all night until then instead of letting me go back to the bed i just got out of. i had to beg to get back into the bed. then i needed to use the bathroom but they ignored me for almost an hour making me wait. once the morning shift came on they were nice again but OMG that night shift!!!!!
