The staff here is extremely unpleasant, feels like a high school with stuck up children. Equinox is better, pleasant and mature staff, better equipment, better atmosphere. This location in Westchester is certainly the worst I've been to in terms of cleanliness, towels have blood stains on them, none of the bars and weights are re racked, and dont even get me started on the hairballs in the showers. Certainly not a $299 a month facility, save your money.

Had an extremely unpleasant encounter today with adam who didnt have the courage to tell me his last name and the manager on site taylor klevenz. The manager gave off a very wanna be cop vibe. Now here is my experience, I brought my mother here to work out, my mom forget her ID so when we got to the front desk I told them I brought a guest with me, adam asked her for ID and she realized she forgot to bring it, adam told us we can not go in without a physical ID even though we had a picture, they are very snobby and uptight over there. Acting as if they are guarding the queens palace, we are simply trying to work out, besides I have been a paying member at a different facility for over 2 years, not to mention the fact that I have invited and signed up over 6 members to this chain, and to then not be shown courtesy at this location was very disappointing. The quality of the customer service at this location is sub par with rude staff. Let the people work out and stop being so disrespectful towards paying customers. I will cancel my membership after such a horrible experience and definitely will let any future friends or colleagues know that this is not the gym to get into. Head over to equinox the staff there is way nicer.

Definitely one of the most iconic lifetime locations in NY, literally has everything besides an ice bath

The place is decent, mostly a daycare during the day but my biggest issue is the staff. One personal trainer specifically named Dan is very disrespectful on multiple occasions. Recently, I had my phone and AirPods on a machine while I went to fill up water and come right back in less than a minute but when I was back my phone was missing. Dan had moves it away to another machine. When I retrieved it after looking for a minute, Dan stared at me in the most aggressive unwelcoming way. I have been here for 4 years now and never seen an employee this rude. He had no right touching my stuff and I was gone for less than a minute. Been thinking of a new gym privately owned instead of this.

Respectfully, ASAP added on 01/02/2024 since I’m unable to write another review. DISINFECT THE STEAM ROOM & SAUNA ALSO SHOWERS. You are advertising eucaliptos steam rooms when the smell in there is just disgusting ?. Every time I grab a clean towel I see make up residue and stains in them. Clean the locker rooms they are dirty and some of them are broken. Offer more classes, like hot Pilates more fitness workouts and more machines to women like the booty builder ( a whole fence of this machines available and lifetime only has one available to all of the ladies attending this gym). Add more hot massage chairs the line is ridiculously long. They should really think about lowering the monthly membership this location and franchise is lacking when it comes to customer service and member support. $279 is too much.as a new member I suggest you guys to step it up and get it together. Stop with the talking and provide customer service to your customers. The women’s bathroom is dirty the steam sauna have razors on the floor and hairs (how is it that every time I go in there I found hairs on the same place, this means is not being washed or sanitized, I wonder if they really do wash the towels??), the steam sauna I keep seeing the same towel on the floor for the last 3 days. Yesterday I went in the showers and found a bloody tampon on the handle (so disgusting) never taking a shower here again. Barely any towels and when you ask one if the girls (if you find one) to unlock the lockers for you they are always in their phone and tell you to wait. (Only one of them is hardworking always available the short one who’s a lil shubby). When it comes to the equipment and floor maintenance towels all over the floors and the equipment, napkins all over the place I have never seen a cleaning person onsite NEVER!! The membership is too expensive for this type of treatment. Another important point, the blonde lady at the reception never greets the guest no good morning or have a great workout so rude. At the reception they are always taking to each other it feels as if you are doing them a favor by showing up. They leave you standing with the phone in your hand and you have to wait for them to turn around and scan your card ridiculous!!! I don’t think I’ll be going to this place again considering Equinox !!.

I love life time; It’s hours are great, their trainers are amazing, & their facility is just as amazing…I love their GTX classes and the amount of classes they offer makes the price worth it; if you don’t use the classes much it’s still worth it if you go during non peak hours. Their guest passes are a bit strict, however it makes sense since they have a lot of members.I have a shake every morning (almond butter is my favorite).

I didn’t want to write this review, but I feel compelled to. I’ve never had this problem at other gyms. However, many of the over 65 male members here have zero care or self awareness when it comes to nudity in the locker rooms. We all have to change, but it’s not uncommon to see someone entirely naked begin using the sink next to you while you’re blow drying your hair in front of a mirror. The other day for no good reason one threw his leg atop the sink counter with his genitalia on full display. I witnessed another older man practically dancing around exposing himself for over several minutes. Paying $379 a month and having this as part of the “gym experience” is becoming annoying. It’s disturbing because this gym has several children’s activities. I wouldn’t want my child being exposed to this. (I will remove this review if there is any solution put forth)

I been coming here for a while and I absolutely love the gym..I have had some injuries from a car accident and was constantly on pain which it makes it hard to workout or do anything.. I started to see a corrective exercise trainer here , he’s name is KAREEM! I can’t say enough good words about him! First he’s very friendly and makes you feel so comfortable, second he’s so acknowledgeable about everything, he can literally tell you everything that is going on in your body, always I feel great and pain free after I see him! He’s also an amazing trainer for overall strength and great nutritionist!I highly highly recommend KAREEM!

They’ve got it all- several pickleball and tennis courts, 2 basketball courts, sauna, steam room, showers, towels and lockers, grooming products, studios, squash, all gym equipment including multiple Jacobs ladders, cafe, salon, some sitting areas, childcare, rock climbing, indoor and outdoor pool.If you’re a weekend morning workout fan or adamant about Monday after work workouts- probably not the place for you as it’s a zoo.The cons? Cafe is too expensive for what it is. Smoothies shouldn’t be 11 dollars. Lots of entitled teenagers which is to be expected I suppose, workout machines could be better, they lock up jump ropes for class use, they don’t have the gorgeous work spaces like newer lifetimes, and it’s pretty much always crowded but very manageable on the off hours. No Pelotons but I guess that makes sense for their brand. Just a big drop off in the biking experience unfortunately.Long story short, if you want to stay active in sports and have flexibility in how you can structure your days- a great place to go.If you can’t- then it’s probably not for you.

Nice gym. Excellent tennis and pickleball courts. Solid selection of treadmills, weight machines, and free weights. Locker rooms are clean, staff is nice, and they have some nice amenities like hydro massage chairs, a food court, and chiropractors and masseuses, among other things. It's currently $279 per month though, which is quite expensive. Of course, the more you use the facilities, the more you get your money's worth. Plus, there aren't many other gyms available in white plains. You can also pause your membership for $15 per month, which is nice.

Membership department is a joke. Awful customer service, inflexible accommodations and poor communication. After being a member for 1.5+ years and taking a short break, I called today to inquire about restarting my membership. What I received was a promise from a membership rep on the phone that he’s “the nicest employee in the department” and that other membership employees “will be even more rude” when asked about finding an alternate time to take a tour that accommodates my schedule.Spend your hard-earned money elsewhere… it’s clearly not valued at Lifetime Westchester.
