The service is excellent even in the holiday season in which the small shop can fill up quickly. They have a variety of meats, some vegetables, juices, and Jamaican bread. “I have to put a review. I was looking for a place for a turkey last minute I called this place. Spoke with Tanji and she fit me in the last minute. I ordered a whole coked turkey for today to pick it up. She was so professional and kind. Spoke with her few times back and forth about ingredients due to allergies. Picked the turkey and I can say that it was the best turkey I ever had and all the guests were so happy. I will never cooked another turkey because there is no way I can cook like them. Thank You all to you and the best chef!”
“My neighborhood butcher. Great steaks, cold cuts, fresh bread, eggs. They've got what you need. The homemade sausage is delicious. Try the chicken and broccoli rabe.”

“I love this supermarket. You can get in and out of the store in a flash, it is clean, very well stocked especially for a small store and the staff is great. My only complaint is that the produce can be underwhelming. I see so many of the reviews compare Country Market to Stop and Shop down the road. While you might be able to get food cheaper at Stop and Shop, Stop and Shop is often understocked, the staff is discourteous and getting in and out of the lot is bad.”

“I found all the workers to be polite and quite accommodating. Weekends are extremely busy and one has to just jump in with the regular patrons to get your order. Weekdays are much slower. As far as cleanliness goes- it's a vivero. These are caged animals brought here for a quick slaughter. The actual slaughtering and processing of the meat is done behind the scenes.I routinely purchase goat meat. I must say the quality of the goat meat far exceeds any commercial chain supermarket. This is what makes me return again and again. There is nothing tastier than freshly slaughtered goats and poultry. In comparison- store bought meat is bland, and injected with a bunch of chemical additives designed to give the meat some taste. Salahi Vivero is the way to go!”
“It's the only Chinese supermarket in Bronx I found. It has vegetables and fruits, sea food , meats , pots and pans. most Asian and Goyo products. The only thing I didn't find was beef jerky of any sort. The prices of some snacks can be more expensive than other Chinese supermarkets in Queens or Brooklyn”
