They should change their name to Choice Dog Because the majority of the stock is canine target So, if you think they may accommodate any other creature, reconsider the stop. The selection thought is impressive

Never shopped here. I always got my dog food from Petco or Chewy, mostly because of the prices. Prices that small family-type business have difficulty competing with. Of course, I never gave that a thought until today. I had my dog at a local dog park and she jumped the fence (always does this) and ran into the woods. She has an air tag on but I never needed to use it because she always came back. This time, she was gone for 15 minutes and I began to worry. She always came when I called within a few minutes. Finally, she came hobbling back. She was filthy and had sticks and twigs stuck to her fur. A white dog earlier was now black. She has very long hair (golden doodle looks like a sheepdog) and she was a mess. Someone at the park had mentioned that Choice Pet had a walk-in wash station and I headed over there. I was immediately impressed-the woman at the desk offered one of the baths. She calmly explained all of the details regarding use of the facilities and led me to the back. The wash station was incredible. 2 tubs, small and large (the small accommodated my 60 lb dog with lots of room to spare. The tub and surroundings were immaculate. A table held shampoo (2 types), after shampoo body spray, a pile of freshly laundered towels, a powerful hair dryer, dog treats, and lollipops. I bathed my dog and spent 45 minutes getting her back to her clean, gloriously hairy self. Cost- 11 bucks. More than reasonable. She seemed to enjoy this spa treatment and what was a disaster became a totally positive experience. I can't imagine a big-box pet store offering anything like this and decided to switch to Choice Pet for all of my pet needs. I may need to spend a few extra bucks but it's worth it for what they have to offer. Super-friendly staff and luxury wash station. Check this place out.

Came in to try the new self wash stations. Super clean and typically not busy. They recommend to call to make an appointment for the baths but will take walk ins. They have one for smaller dogs that is a little raised and another for larger dogs. I will say they don't provide any supplies for your wash. Be prepared and bring your own shampoo. They do have towels and dryers available for you. Cost was about $11 in total which is pretty reasonable. Would definitely recommend if you need a clean self wash station for your pup!

Great independent pet store next to Trader Joe’s. They offer $11 self wash in the back of the store and have several nice raised sinks. Really wide array of natural dog and cat food and treats. They gave us tons of samples just to try and offered to order the larger format of the dog food we buy. The staff is super helpful and friendly too

For an owner of a large breed dog who is shy around people, the self bath alone is a godsend. There are two washing stations. You set the water temperature. They provide the shampoo (or you can bring your own) and some snacks for your pet. (They also have treats that look like they are made for humans, but don't be fooled. They are meant for the pets.) They also provide towels and hair dryers (and a table for small dogs). All this for $11 - a price I believe to be far below the value being provided. ($20 would probably be a fair price.)They also offer a full service of food, toys, leashes, otc meds and insect repellents, equipment, etc., for your furry friends. The staff is friendly and helpful. They all look like animal lovers. If you're looking for a place to wash your own pet, but don't want to clog every pipe in your home, I highly recommend this place.

Cute shop. Seems to have lots of dog and cat's supplies. Not much for ferrets. I couldn't find a full body harness for my lil noodle.

I love this store. They are organized and love pets. The workers are the some of the nicest people I've met. When they don't have what I'm looking for, they order it and contact me when it arrives. I always feel good when I leave the store.
