Geraldina is so warm and welcoming! My friends and I came in for wedding dress alterations we were blown away by the beautiful dresses she has in store and the work that she does! She was kind, efficient and dedicated! I highly recommend Geraldina for all dresses and any alterations!

Geraldina’s Couture is fantastic. My teenage daughter had two dresses made for her, with multiple alterations each time, and the dresses have been excellent every single time. In addition to doing high quality work, Geraldina and her entire staff are kind, great to work with, and very knowledgeable. The entire shop really works with you to make sure the dress is exactly what you want.

Had such an unfortunate experience here. I would hesitate to rate it highly. The owner's behavior was disappointing, very rude/ aggressive toned. Not to mention way over priced. 100% taking advantage of customers charging high prices because of the location, has absolutely nothing to do with quality of work.I visited the shop for a dress alteration (hemming at the bottom and a little take in at the top) owner wasn’t in at the time, so the lady who pinned my dress told me after the fact, that she’d call me to let me know the price because she was new and didn’t know how much to charge me.I was contacted by the owner a day or two later with a quote exceeding $400; for a dress that was purchased for $150 at Kleinfield. I was shocked! When I asked her why so much, I was told it was because she basically had to “make a new dress”. Feeling uneasy about it all, I expressed my desire to come by the shop to pick up my dress to take it elsewhere. I brought my sister with me, which I was so glad I did, because she was able to witness the owners true demeanor.When we arrived to the shop, we were greeted with such an attitude. After having been yelled at by the owner, I was told I had to pay a $60 fee before before retrieving my dress for wasting her time and pinning the dress. I didn’t fight it and paid her the $60. Curiously, once the payment was made the owner began removing the pins off my dress, which seems counterintuitive being that I just paid for the pining service. I had to tell her to stop before she ruined my dress.Reflecting on the experience, I ultimately entrusted my dress to a different tailor in Ardsley. They had to readjust the pins on the dress and address a yellow chalk stain on the bottom of the dress, which they found surprising as white chalk would have been more appropriate to use. I paid $150 for these alterations and it was done within 3 days. I have since become a loyal customer. So I guess I owe you a thank you for that. And best part, the owner treats her customers with respect, like their own family or friends.Please note that this incident occurred some time ago, and I apologize for the delay in sharing my feedback. This experience is the worst I’ve ever had at any establishment, and one I will never forget.

The best service. Geraldina was very polite and helpful. I was very satisfied with my costume made gown. Great environment as well. I would highly recommend this atelier in Scarsdale NY.

I cannot begin to express how wonderful of a job and how happy I am with the outcome of the dress they created.The designer made my dream dress come true. The second I walked in she knew my body and had unique ideas to make this dress come to life. I highly recommend and could not be happier!!! Thanks for all your hard work- you guys truly are the best.

Made me a blanket of all my father’s leftover clothing of when he passed away charged me $850 then tried to tell me it was 1000 then moved it up to 2500 very unprofessional gave it to me in a plastic bag and I have a whole text message from her how rude and disgusting she is very unprofessional, tries to rob you do not go there ? and the nerve of her to keep the pillow of my fathers face so if anybody sees this pillow displayed, she is a crook that was all I had left of my father. Brides! Highly recommend this store for custom dresses as well as alterations. Geraldina and her team did the alterations on my lace wedding dress. They took an already beautiful dress and turned it into a stunning work of art. Their ability to identify where to take it in throughout a garment is unmatched. They tailor to your body and ensure that even areas of a body that are asymmetrical are not shown once the garment is on. They did the alterations by hand and created a very practical and beautiful bustle for my dress. The dress stayed in perfect condition throughout the event! They also altered my mom’s dress and did a fabulous job. Their work was always done on time despite how intensive the alterations were. The team works so well together and is always on the same page which is wonderful to see. I am so glad we worked with Geraldina’s for my wedding!

They charge a $25 consultation fee and don't tell you about it when coming in but expect you to pay. Everywhere else I've been in the area had free consultations. They also quoted me over $1000 to alter a tuxedo and pants.

For anyone looking for a custom dress or incredibly skillful and thoughtful alterations -- come to Geraldina's! She saved me when I was without a wedding dress two weeks before my wedding. She figured out my measurements just by looking at me, she immediately understood what it was I wanted, and she made me a custom dress and did major alterations on another dress in mere days. Geraldina's skills are second to none. Truly a talent and am so glad I found her!

Didn't rell me the price up front. Wanted $100 to take in an easy dress about an inch. When I didn't want to continue with services still charged me 25 \\\"for their time\\\", coulda saved everyone's if they were upfront with overcharging people.

If you are looking for a place to find a dress or get alterations done I highly suggest you look elsewhere. The business owner Geraldina is absolutely unprofessional and has zero customer service. She refuses to listen to the customer and does not care if a customer is unhappy. I had one of the worst experiences in my life dealing with Geraldina for simple alterations. In addition to the poor service she overcharges and her work does NOT match her price point. She should take that money to invest in classes to run a business and deal with customers in a proper way.

I had an amazing experience for my first fitting at Geraldine's. She has opened a new store (not yet opened) and everything is custom designed and FAB. She is kind and CARES ABOUT THE BRIDE. I highly recommend her. I cant wait to come back for my best fitting.
