To make a long story short, I've had a hearing problem since 2 years old. Been to many audiologists over the year. due to a recent illness, my hearing declined even further. My wife insisted I had to try ONE MORe TIME. She looked up other recommendations and Miracle Ear came up a few time. WE booked an appt. at the Central Avenue location in Hartsdale, NY. Richard greeted us with a huge smile and instantly put me at ease. After a lengthy examination, I was ready to give up with no hope. But not Richard. He was determined to find a solution to my very, very unique problem.He succeeded. With the newest Miracle Ear technology and a professional and very patient audiologist at hand, I have achieved hearing I have not had in my 65 years of existence. Need I say anymore? I went to the Hartsdale office today. RICH SPILKA performed THE most comprehensive auditory exam that I've ever had. He is extremely knowledgeable, professional and courteous. Not only did I learn a lot, I walked out of MIRACLE-EAR with absolute satisfaction in the way that I was taken care of - THANKS RICH!!!

Extremely thorough exam. Everything clearly explained. Good "bedside" manner. Spent an enormous amount of time even though he knew I was NOT buying (already owned the set). Well worth the visit and time. The units are the best.

Richard was great and his examination was very thorough. MiracleEar has a great money back guarantee period. We had to unfortunately return the hearing aids we bought and Rich was great in trying to fix the issues we were having within the trial period until we finallt decided to return. I was going to leave a 5 star review but changed my mind after our final visit to return the hearing aids. At this appt Richard was rude and almost dismissive of us. We could tell the difference in his demeanor as soon as we walked in and it was frankly so off-putting. I understand he may be disappointed but if your company offers a trial period, then you have to expect people are going to return the product sometimes. Also... When they use the otoscope (the instrument used to check ears), they don't change the speculum (the earpiece) between customers. They just clean with alcohol prep. Doc offices and other hearing aid stores use disposable speculums that are discarded after each customer. Just a suggestion.
