Let me begin my saying that my partner and I are loyal Petco customers with Reptile and Aquatic Vital care rewards memberships. Last night was our 3rd trip to Petco for the week. We were utterly OUTRAGED, disappointed, and concerned to notice the neglectful and uninformed care that your reptiles are receiving. Particularly the 9 young Ball Pythons that are being housed at this location. It pains us to hear that the staff at this location has expressed to us multiple times that there are animal specialists on staff. If that were true, every employee working there would know how wrong and unethical it is to house more than 1 python in 1 enclosure. To our disgust we noticed that there are 4 Baby pythons in 1 tank! 3 in another, and 2 in another. A specialist or even a staff who cared about the well being of the animals would know that ball pythons are solitary animals and do not appreciate the company of their own kind unless it is for a brief time to mate. This not only leads to the spread of illnesses amongst the snakes, but it also leads to agression, and most likely death to the smallest or weakest. This shows not only that you are practicing poor husbandry for these animals, but, you are also teaching uneducated clients that it is OK to house snakes together because let's face the truth, 80% of the clientele at a petco really are not experienced reptile keepers. We have had 15 years under our belt caring for Aquatic animals and reptiles. About almost a year ago we purchased a pied ball python at this location. When we first noticed her, she was being sold for $600! Which is outrageous to begin with but also she and all the other snakes at the time in the store were infested with mites. Had my partner and I not pointed that out to a staff member, this would have gone unnoticed and you would have kept selling the snakes with mites because this wasn't a sudden infestation, those snakes had been infested with mites for a while given the look of their conditions. We t

Had my partner and I not pointed that out to a staff member, this would have gone unnoticed and you would have kept selling the snakes with mites because this wasn't a sudden infestation, those snakes had been infested with mites for a while given the look of their conditions. We tried to convince the manager to let us buy her at a discounted rate and we would treat her for the mites at home. But we were refused that. Our snake went into treatment at your facility and about 2 or 3 weeks later when we came back to purchase her at a minimal discounted rate, she STILL had mites so we ended up treating her ourselves anyway. That snake is still alive, happy, and healthy with us thankfully. This is unfortunately not the first time we noticed big questionable care practices from you guys and this location in particular, you out to be ashamed of yourselves charging for snakes 300 to 600 dollars where you have local animal stores in your area that sell healthy snakes and charge half of what you do. Why isn't anybody properly researching or caring how these animals are being cared for??? And worst of all why are you spreading bad care practices by what you are showing. It's because of these kinds of displays that people think it's OK to do the bare minimum with reptiles, leading to more abandoned reptiles and flushed pets. We will be returning to this location in 2 weeks to see of this review made any difference to the care these snakes are receiving in which case if not we will reach out to corporate. Also get a grip on your prices with these snakes unless you guys practice perfect care which you clearly don't. It's crazy. We hope these snakes will eventually be discounted due to this poor care so that we can rescue them from this. We are very disappointed, and, know that there aren't many of us who devote time and care to these animals as a hobby but there are a few of us and WE SEE YOU.

Terrible haircut on my dog from this grooming salon. Charged $80 and barely took any length off my dog’s coat.

This is the jankiest Petco ever. It's dark, dirty, smells bad, and for some reason has lots of caution tape up looking like a crime scene.Public restroom is apparently permanently out of order.

The store was well stocked, but I felt like the staff didn't really want to help. I felt like they were trying to avoid helping me. They just kept pointing to where stuff was and quickly leaving. For some reason I felt claustrophobic in this store. Things seemed too close together and cluttered. I don't think I'll be going back to this location. I've had better experiences in other locations with much more helpful and knowledgeable people.

I went to Petco in Hartsdale for Amazon return. Jonathan was so helpful. My first time returning Amazon. He helped me and did everything for me on my phone for the return. So kind and patient with people also in front of me. Jonathan is a total asset to this Petco store. Patricia hopefully you read this.

I had ordered kitten food online from petco and had it delivered to my house. The Instinct brand food looked discolored when i opened it and my kitten would not eat it. So I brought it to the Hartsdale Petco to return.I explained my concerns with the green hues within the can and the sales associate proceeded to open a can and educate me on how fat congeals on the top of the food causing it to turn green. Super helpful knowledge, but the tone was heavily annoyed with me.The sales associate then claimed to have “seen me before” and that I’ve “attempted to return several items in the recent weeks”. This is the first return I’ve made at Petco, I got my kitten 3 weeks ago, so I was in shock to be accused of trying to scam Petco. This woman made me feel absolutely awful and under no circumstance will I return to this store or even order online in fear of having to return something again. Luckily there is a pets smart also in white plains where I can go for kitten food.

I don’t understand why I have the option to purchase things on line to pick up in the store if they’re out of stock. 3 out of the 4 items I purchased were cancelled due to them not being in stock! I actually found 1 of the items that were cancelled when I came into the store to pick up my order. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful but the bopis process was just frustrating.
