I, along with my husband and daughter have been banking with TD for 20 plus years. Recently, every time I make a deposit I am badgered with intrusive questions like, “Where did the money come from”? And “What do you plan on doing with it?” This has happened on multiple occasions with two different tellers, both were deposits of $3,000. They also make you agree to the deposit via text as to track your every move. Today, I decided to make a deposit into my Capital One account to see if this was something all banks were requiring, there were NO questions asked! I called customer service and was told this is a policy of all TD Banks and that it can be found on their website under the personal deposit agreement. I just looked and it is NOT written as such in their agreement. TD Bank is a Canadian bank so I am assuming this is something that is done in Canada, but here in America, as long as the deposit is under $10,000 there should be no questions asked! We will be closing our 4 accounts, including a business account due to this ridiculous “policy”.

I have nothing but positive things to say about this branch and the people there. They are always vibrantly friendly and helpful. Last time I was in the manager, Joe, pulled me aside to talk about different promotions the bank had going on that our business might be interested in. I am very thankful to have such a great bank in the community.

Bad experience called ahead of time to see if they could give me currency Exchange dollars to euros I was told yes. I drove an hour and a half and they said they couldn’t do it because I didn’t have an account after I verified that I could.

Daniele the lady who works at the front desk basically she doesn’t know anything. Three ladies in the front only one knows how to look up a safety box. And they don’t want to help me remove the frozen acct off my app. Very bad customer service.

So I have been banking with td now for years both privately and in business
This branch out of all the branches I have been to on Long Island by far has THE WORST MANAGEMENT I have ever come across .
TD OF HAUPPAUGE IN SPECIFIC !!
They do not care about their customers, they are rude beyond belief !!! And they don’t listen to what you are saying !!!
No other branch that knows me and the knows the business that I bring there gives me an issue besides this one .
I am disgusted by the management they are horrible and rude
And this has happened on multiple occasions !!!
SOMETHING HAS TO CHANGE AND IT SHOULD START WITH MANAGEMENT
I WILL NEVER BANK HERE AGAIN
DISGUSTING BRANCH AND DISGUSTING PEOPLE BEHIND THE COUNTER !!
if you want horrible service and to waste your time this is your bank !!!

You can judge the character of any business by how they treat people with special needs. Last week (in first week of February 2024,)my sister-in-law who relies on this bank because it is within walking distance to her apartment and vicinity to ShopRite. Her monthly income comes electronically, as she-receives SS disability and it is direct deposited. She was summoned to the Bank and told that the bank no longer wished to do business with her. No information was supplied other than they may have been fraud on the account, but supplied no detail. This info was delivered to her by the branch manager. After hearing this I decided to go into the branch with her and get more light on the subject. The supervisor Natalia was very nice, but after waiting one hour and 15 minutes patiently and we were told that they would definitely get back to us try and supply a more detailed information to us, After calling to follow up, I received no other information.So much for banks, knowing their customers. Because if they did, they would know 100% for that this person had nothing to do with any fraud,, but they decided to dismiss her and make her walk back to her house, which is in itself a struggle.This was at the Hauppauge NY branch. Cold and heartless bankers.

Don't bother banking there. Didn't bother calling me until I hit them with a negative survey. Won't admit to fixing a mistake and they best they can do is "meet you halfway" with a "wow" credit. Please. Meet me half way? How about fixing the whole problem.

This branch is terrible. They were not helpful at all in doing the simplest thing such as printing a debit card out. Even verifying me 5 different ways, they told me they cannot print me a debit card. I went to another branch and they were soo helpful, friendly and didn't shrug me off coldly. Do not ever go to this branch. The manager and staff does not know what they're doing. Even if they weren't able to help me, if they had just been nice... it would've fine. Unbelievable.
