You can judge the character of any business by how they treat people with special needs. Last week (in first week of February 2024,)my sister-in-law who relies on this bank because it is within walking distance to her apartment and vicinity to ShopRite. Her monthly income comes electronically, as she-receives SS disability and it is direct deposited. She was summoned to the Bank and told that the bank no longer wished to do business with her. No information was supplied other than they may have been fraud on the account, but supplied no detail. This info was delivered to her by the branch manager. After hearing this I decided to go into the branch with her and get more light on the subject. The supervisor Natalia was very nice, but after waiting one hour and 15 minutes patiently and we were told that they would definitely get back to us try and supply a more detailed information to us, After calling to follow up, I received no other information.So much for banks, knowing their customers. Because if they did, they would know 100% for that this person had nothing to do with any fraud,, but they decided to dismiss her and make her walk back to her house, which is in itself a struggle.This was at the Hauppauge NY branch. Cold and heartless bankers.

Don't bother banking there. Didn't bother calling me until I hit them with a negative survey. Won't admit to fixing a mistake and they best they can do is "meet you halfway" with a "wow" credit. Please. Meet me half way? How about fixing the whole problem.

This branch is terrible. They were not helpful at all in doing the simplest thing such as printing a debit card out. Even verifying me 5 different ways, they told me they cannot print me a debit card. I went to another branch and they were soo helpful, friendly and didn't shrug me off coldly. Do not ever go to this branch. The manager and staff does not know what they're doing. Even if they weren't able to help me, if they had just been nice... it would've fine. Unbelievable.

If i could leave 0 stars i would. Every time i use this branch, they have issues. When i use St. James or Nesconset branches, magically they can do everything these people are to incompetent to do. I called ahead to get a transaction report printed for a savings account. I was assured on the phone it would be ready when i got there. So when i arrived on my lunch break, after several minutes the teller says that they are not able to print what i needed. Funny, considering i had a transaction report printed 2 weeks prior by a different teller and no issue. The customer service at this branch if awful and extremely inconsistent. They are the reason i will switch out of TD as the aggravation is not worth giving them another shot. They should take note as to why they have 3 stars or less.

Most rude bank ever. Td bank hauppauge will never get my business. Manager very rude and short. Tellers are always short staffed. They never have a clue about any deposits when checks clear. Never give any help

if i could give this bank 0 stars i would. the sign says america's most convenient bank but it's is the least convenient bank i have ever been to in my entire life. it took an HOUR for three cars to move in the drive through. i am disgusted by their lack of customer service and sense of urgency. the managers and staff should be ashamed to "work" there(if you can even call it working) will never be coming back to this bank EVER again.

Worst Bank on Long Island I have over 30k in my account and I was trying to get a managers check for a down payment for a house and they wanted to change me $8! I kindly asked if they could waive the fee as a courtesy and the Teller and and Personal banker all refused to waive the $8 fee for a long time customer. This is the worst experience in a TD branch. I have been banking with TD for over 7 years and this is the thanks they show there customers.

been with this td bank for well over 10 years...nothing but positives...tellers are professional and friendly...never have any problems ...
