“I was pretty new to crossfit and took fundamentals before jumping into classes and I'm really glad I did. Getting good technique down is really important to me. I've taken classes with all of the coaches and they're all very knowledgeable and mindful of everyone during class. They'll also give you modifications when needed, which is super helpful. The gym is great, people are lovely, class times are perfect for me, and I'm already a big fan! I've been to a lot of different types of gyms in the NYC area; I'd definitely recommend this gym.”

“I joined this gym in 2021 and have been lifting there 4x/week for almost three years. Short review: it’s great.Long review:They have four combo/powerlifting racks and three full sets of calibrated competition plates. Three deadlift platforms. Great selection of power bars, deadlift bars, squat bars, and specialty bars (SSB, axle, trap bar, etc). A couple cable machines, dumbbells up to 150lb, plus a treadmill, row erg, and assault bike. They’re consistently updating equipment based on membership needs.The membership base is consistently friendly, courteous, gives great hype and spots when needed. The community in this place is great, and is the number one reason I come here.It’s open twenty-four hours (not staffed, keypad access only). I love that I can come here at literally 3am and lift if I need to. And I feel safe doing that, which is key.Overall, this place is a highlight of my days and makes going to the gym something I look forward to.”

“I enrolled for the Ultimate membership so I could go to any retro fitness but I realized I was going only to New city. So I went to Pearl River, where I enrolled for in July 11th and told them I wanted to DOWNGRADE my plan and be transferred to New City, because it was closer to my house.The front desk girl specifically said SHE DID downgraded it, which was a lie - her name is Lauren, I guess. Also, she could not be even slightly polite when I told I wanted to downgrade and be transferred. She barely explained me or talked at all, I didn’t even understand she was already done with my request, once she turned her back and I was standing there not even understanding she had finished it. Anyways, she said she downgraded it but to be transferred I would have to send an email (I ended up not sending it because I traveled and forgot to when I came back, but regardless when my membership card stopped working in new city I would know it was because they downgraded it for real), so fine, I kept going to new city always asking if I was still allowed to go there because I expect that eventually my card would stop working once my membership was supposedly DOWNGRADED, but I still went because I thought It was a last days thing… anyway. I only realized they lied about downgrading it because they charged me 43 dollars bill this month, AGAIN, after weeks I canceled it then I called and figured my plan was still the same and they actually only transferred me instead of what they told me they did. This is disrespectful, if they had told me they didn’t for some reason I would have figured it out myself, but I thought it was all right. So now I wanna know how to fix this because it’s not fair I’m paying this bill because your employee is a lier. Ridiculous and disrespectful.”

“Not the best but pretty chill, clean, big and with plenty of equipment. Big locker rooms, lean showers. Small sauna box but everything else is great. Came in for a trial since I am only in town for a weekend, signed up online, came in and got great service without being hassled to sign up for anything. In fact it only took 3 mins for a quick picture and signature and I was in working out quickly. Def would recommend trying out if you’re from the area.”

“Great gym. They have a good amount of machines to use. Everything is in good repair: the one time I noticed something was out of order, it was fixed quite quickly.
It's a good place for you if you don't need things like a pool or sauna, and just want to work out. 24 hour access is an enormous plus, which I greatly prefer to the frill "amenities" of larger gyms. They had a boxing ring for a while, which I'm glad they got rid of to add more weights. Despite that, it was a good indicator of trying different things for their customers.
They do have showers, but it might be difficult during busier hours as the showers are coupled with some of the bathrooms. Still, nice to have as a lot of smaller gyms might not have them at all.
I go early in the morning and it isn't too busy. There's a usual crowd of people and everyone goes about their business in an amicable and polite way. I don't have a lot of time, but I've noticed people seem to know and talk to one another, so you might find a gym buddy here. Sometimes "people watching" their interactions is amusing between sets.
