“everywhere I turned I found something I had to have. I could have spent hours here going through the jewelry and clothing. i ended up getting a beautiful dress that im so excited about”
“Worked with them a few years ago to get an antique piece of furniture modified. They did an amazing job and my wife and I couldn't be happier with it. Can easily recommend and will be coming back should we need similar work in the future.”
“I've been living in Hastings for 20 years, and this is by far my favorite shop. Fonda is an absolute gem. A gorgeous selection of vintage and antique jewelry and home decor. To anyone visiting the rivertowns or Westchester county, Surburban Renewal is an absolute must visit!
As of 2/9/24 they do not accept apple pay, bring cards or cash! Trust me, you can't walk out of this quaint little shop and not buy something. There is something for everyone!”

“Ohhh wow. Wow, wow, wow! I visited this shop for the first time yesterday and didn’t want to leave. What a treasure trove. The true treasure there though is the owner, Muhammad. Thanks for everything, sir. You made my day and I will be back. Also, know that I absolutely love my vintage shell lamp shade. It looks gorgeous in my day room. I removed the standard cloth shade and placed this one on my lamp and I just played music and enjoyed looking at it. It is perfectly beautiful and I feel like it was waiting just for me :)
Beautiful store. Wonderful owner. Do drop by!”
“I have bought furniture, pictures, clothing, etc., from Gene since the 1990s. Incredible store she has an eye for quality and reasonable prices. If you are in Nyack don’t miss this shop!!!”
“We recently purchased a mid-century wooden framed chair. Stacy is extremely kind, friendly, and professional. We really liked the style of the furniture and art in the shop, worth a look if you’re in the area.”
“What a beautiful job Rob did on my Grandparents chest of drawers, approx late 1940’s, above & beyond what one could imagine, a memory that will last a lifetime”
“Cute thrift shop and the people who work here are so friendly! I always love stopping by when I am in the area. I’ve purchased plenty of vintage mens’ sweaters and various knick knacks.
Purchased this cute little clay house that was on display at the front of the shop the other day :-)”
“I went into Colin’s shop for the first time Christmas weekend and he was so welcoming, patient and warm. His selection is French chic and I loved every single piece he has in his shop from the chandeliers, furniture, jewelry, bags and assorted amazing houseware pieces. I bought a few candles and said for the conversation. Highly recommend stopping in”
“If you really love antique furniture and it needs to be restored and back to life, Mark is the correct person to do it. He is wonderful. Excellent professional, and he always does an incredible job. My husband and I have taken 5 pieces to him so far, and we have never been disappointed. On the contrary, we feel so lucky that we found him. We have even learned with him about antiques. We certainly recommend Mark. 10 stars!!!”
“This is a wonderful, well curated shop filled with interesting and unique pieces of furniture, decor, lighting, art etc. I saw a gorgeous pink Murano lamp the other day which was just beautiful. I really don’t understand all of the negative reviews as my husband and I find the owner, Michael, very pleasant and engaging. In fact, he can be quite witty with a dry sense of humor. The prices are not outrageous by any means and the owner is usually open to negotiations. We have purchased several lovely items here which we proudly display in our home. Also, be sure to give a pet to the sweet, old black lab when he greets you as you walk in.”
“I can't recommend Adams Unlimited highly enough. Josh was prompt, responsive and kind. He treated my mother's home with respect and dignity, and is more than fair in his offers. I appreciated his honesty and transparency, and would recommend him wholeheartedly to peruse your estate/antiquities. Definitely a trustworthy gentleman. Probably just as rare as some of the antiques he handles.”
