I have been a customer for about 5 years. I appreciate that they answer the phone 24/7, the reps are knowledgeable and quick to help with whatever my issue is, and they get the technicians out quickly when needed. Having no heat in the winter is stressful, but Burke has always resolved my issues quickly and at a fair price. Thank you.

Received propane delivery at $4.19 per gallon, way more expensive than local companies. When I complained about the cost I was finally contacted by a customer service supervisor who told me about Burke's 7-tier pricing system being a reason for the inflated price, as well as services that Burke's provides. I told him that this 7-tier pricing system made no sense, I was never informed about this through any literature from the company about this policy, and the only services Burke's provides for me is propane delivery, so why should I pay for services I am not receiving? I have been with Sclafani since 2017 and have seen my propane charges increase astronomically since Burke took Sclafani over, and I told him that this is a terrible way to treat loyal customers who pay on time, every time, for the past almost 7 years.

Amongst my many issues including have a Burke technician shutting off my heat because he discovered a leak on routine cleaning and finding out later the tech was wrong, there was no leak , and this idiot shut off our heat without even telling usI called up to speak to supervisor or filed technician with no call back. Finally after called 6 his excuse was that that he thought I was someone else ( with a different name and address ?) so he liedI called 5 times over the past 9 days because they said they fixed my humidifier but did not but no field supervisor called me back. Field supervisors do not call back and it is absolutely disgustingThis company was good years ago and now I wouldn’t rec them for anything. Stay away.I will be using someone else when my contract is up. They also over charge for oil so beware

Burke Energy delivers oil. They deliver it at a premium. My last delivery was priced at $4.789/gallon. I called around and the current prices were in the low $3 range. You all would be better served looking elsewhere. The 2 stars are because each person I spoke to has been polite.

The employees of Bruke, specifically the mechanics that come out to service your system or fix broken parts, have all been amazing people. What makes the company bad is the lack of communication and the lack of working with their customers. They messed up and delivered oil to a temporary tank I had, that they were supposed to pick up 3 weeks prior, instead of to the new tank I had installed. So they made a second delivery to the new tank. Cost of oil was over $1400 because that’s when oil prices were through the roof. We ended having an outstanding bill and they wouldn’t setup a payment plan. Here’s where it got worse. They sent our bill to collections and the lawyers were unreachable. They then wanted to sue us for the outstanding balance when we were trying to pay for months. Burke themselves couldn’t get in contact with the lawyers and it has been an unneeded stressor.

Everyone whom I have dealt with in these past 6-7 years with Burke has been exceptional. It starts with customer service and everyone is always respectful over the phone. The entire team that comes for the oil delivery and servicing of the boiler is courteous and knowledgeable and we appreciate their hard work during the winter months. One of the technicians that came out 2-3 months ago, Matt, took care of the boiler and oil tank and was very impressed with his expertise. Today, Mark who has come out in the past as well, came for the inspection for the fill on my oil tank and again, was very professional and friendly, checked the oil tank and said everything is perfect for the next delivery and wished me Happy Holidays. The small things do count. My sincere advice is to join their membership plan and lock up a max fixed rate for your oil for 2 years and you simply can't go wrong with Burke Energy. Thank you!

crooks when it comes to giving pricing for oil. they are more than $2 more than their competitors. when questioned why, they tell you we are a big company with a lot of overhead. they don't care about their customers just their profit margin

Three years ago, I had a new central air system installed by another company. Unfortunately, the guy didn’t install the system correctly and refused/couldn’t figure out how to fix it. I hired Burke to help. Gary, Tom and crew were extremely helpful in diagnosing and fixing the issue. First summer in years where the system is working correctly!

Brian (technician 63) was incredibly helpful and kind. He was very respectful of our house, and explained everything clearly which made it easy to understand (even for me who doesn't understand any of this stuff!). He was fast and clean with his work, and I would highly recommend you request him if he's available to help with your problems. Thank you, Brian! We greatly appreciate your help (Brian and Burke were also quick to respond as we called them the night before and Brian got here in the morning to help us).

Back in May I scheduled three cleanings for my properties for today June 15th between 8-12.By 10 when no tech showed up, I called and was told the appts were for the afternoon.I said no, there were for the morning. They checked and said yes, but we’re rescheduled for the afternoon yesterday. I received no calls, emails, texts changing the appts. They said I was called. That is a lie.Beware of this company. They think your time has no value. Time for me to change companies.

do your homework. Burke Energy has the highest prices BY FAR!! They tried to renew my 86 year old mothers contract @ $5.28 when the average was $3.50
