I purchased vitamins on 10/19/2024 with my credit card. The person who helped me said they were the owner of this particular location. He was so nice and polite but then, without my consent, he signed me up for subscription based delivery. I want to emphasize that this was without my consent. It's been such a tough time unsubscribing and I won't even begin to share the amount of time and money this is costing me. Really concerning to know that you have to be on constant guard and weary of overly polite team members out of fear that they will take advantage. Buyers beware. I likely won't be returning to this particular location.

You need the right customer service when you're buying pre-workout to make sure you're buying the right thing. Everytime I go to the Hempstead location, I always get the top notch customer service. You can tell that they care about maximizing your workouts and making sure you're recovering properly.

Worst service ever. Walked in today at around 10:10am looking for a particular protein powder I use after a workout. It's a plant based powder called sun warrior. I walked up to the clerk Ana who was behind a messy register with boxes and products all over it. All I could see of her was eyes and that's it. I asked if they carried the item in question and in the middle of me explaining what it was she just shook her head no and said we don't have it here. Now normally I would of just walked out because she made me feel like I wasn't wanted in there by the way just cut me off without even really listening. So instead I took a look around myself because This brand isn't easy to find, and she responded with "okaaaaayyyyy" and went back to playing jenga with the boxes. Luckily I found the product on a shelf and it was the last one so I walked up with it to the register and told her I found it and since all I was able to see of her was eyes I noticed they widened and she started making weird noises it kind of sounded like porky the pig from looney tunes when he makes those weird sound effects before he goes "that's all folks". Then she made me wait for her to finish her jenga game with those darn boxes before she decided to ring me up (I assume she was being petty) then started trying to give me product knowledge out of the blue, things like; "oh you said sun warrior?? I'm sorry I didn't know we sell that you should of said the name that was on the item". So I politely pointed to her where it says sun warrior dead center in bold golden lettering. She then asked me if I was happy with the flavor and I told her that I preferred vanilla but there's just this chocolate one left on the shelf, do you have any in the back? And literally tells me that's all we have on the shelf. So I'm standing there and I just looked at her, I didn't know if she was being petty and didn't wanna look in the back or if she was telling me the truth. Honestly I was confused, she acted like I was that kid in class that smelt like liver and onions and I know that couldn't be the case because I DEFINITELY SHOWERED before I came outside. All in all im glad I got what I came for but didn't like the rudeness. I was litterally the only customer in there at 10am and I think I know why now, it's because Ana doesn't want them there sheesh...

Trash, they know so. Just shut them all down. Their employees are trash as well. Go to vitamin shoppe honestly, just delete the whole place. Unfortunately, this location is the closest one besides levittown. I would say definitely check it out, if not like I said shut them down and use the website. Check the dates on the products and have knowledge before because you're not going to get help. Trash, Basura

I'm not from the neighborhood, so I looked up on yelp GNC. This store was closed and completely empty. So it appears they are out of business. I just wanted to let anybody know in case they went out of their way to go there like I did.

The employees are more concerned about social media than customers. I guy named pete give me such an attitude because I kept questioning him about products. But he had no problem following a female around the store trying to get her telephone number. They are so unprofessional.
