The shop is very busy, many clients, but when they work on your bike it is quick, efficient, and an excellent job done at good prices. Gerard knows his stuff, explains clearly what is needed, what can be done, and supply many options through his years of experience. All the guys in the shop is always friendly and very helpful. No BS advice and repairs at good and transparant prices. Thank you Gerard, Steve, and crew!

The best Motorcycle shop around. Extremely honest. Excellent mechanical work. Gerard stands behind the work his shop does. Very fair pricing. Rolling Thunder is the only Motorcycle shop I would recommend. Steve in the parts department is great. The entire staff always spends time with me answering any questions. I never feel like I’m being rushed out of the shop. Fantastic old school shop mentality which is difficult to find today.

I've been using RT for a while.. Gerard and Steve go out of their way to please. I own both, a 1998 FLSTC & 2010 FLHTK. If you own an American motorcycle, this is definately the place to go for any maintenance or customization. Thanks guys!!

Very disappointed they now choose to work on bikes of their choice just needed an inspection denied for no reason such a small thing to lose a customer over or future referrals I guess they don’t need the business!!??

It really doesn't get better for a service repair shop.... Gerard is excellent, he takes his time explaining everything to you and recommends whatever you may need based on your preference and riding style ( and he is more on the conservative end, won't make you spend money you don't have to, even if you want to!). I really enjoyed working with rolling thunder. They installed a full stage 2 and did it quickly and did an excellent job! Gerard even called me later in the day to see how the bike was running. They really do care about their work and their customers, glad to have them close to home.

OMG!! - I found this shop on google and saw the 5 star rating, so I brought my bike for repairs to them to try them out... WOW !! there is a reason they have the best 5 star reviews....they are justified and they absolutely deserve them !!What a great shop. They took my bike in fairly quickly during the busy riding season, and got the transmission issue repaired within a few days. They also have the OEM Harley computer diagnostic service equipment needed to program another remote for me and to change my security code. The mechanics are top notch technical wizards. I was treated like a VIP and best of all the prices on repairs are much better than what I was quoted from the Harley dealer, and the service technician is the owner of the shop. I am so glad I found this shop. What an amazing place !!I AM NOW A CUSTOMER FOR LIFE !! Thanks to everyone there.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !! ....and an additional great side note is the fact that the Hempstead LIRR station is just a few blocks from the shop so its easy to drop off a bike and take the LIRR back. ( I no longer need to beg wifey anymore to give me a ride back after dropping off my bike for repairs or upgrades)

I called Steve and explained some crazy idea I had for a Stop, Turn, and Running light setup on a bike I modified, he spent a 1/2 hour on the phone with me, did all sorts of research, called me Back! with the info I needed, sold me what needed and it all worked out Perfectly!! What a great dude!!! Thank You Rolling Thunder!!!

I have been a customer for going on five years and recently hada part replaced which has prompted this review.Not being mechanically inclined, but riding for 50 years I needed a gas filter.Part was ordered and when I asked if it could be installed for me, Gerard not only made time, but when it came to charging for labor, he said, “there is no charge.”Perfection is defined as “an exemplification of supreme excellence” and that is what you will findat Rolling Thunder Cycles.From Gerard, Tom, Steve and the highly regarded technicians.Both Pete and Rich are thorough and their expertise is second to noone.Whether a beginner, or old school rider, if your motorcycle needs any attention you will be making a mistake not bring it to Rolling Thunder.
