Customer Service is the WORST. It is as if the postal service placed all the bad attitude workers in Hempstead, including Supervisor Natasha. She has ZERO patience but plenty of nastiness. It is her belief that the USPS are all separate entities and are not connected. After explaining a delivery problem I had with a returned package I had sent to Georgia and requested for it to be sent again without cost, she said, "Hempstead don't have nothing to do with Georgia." She openly critized my returned package by saying," Look at the package....it's all wrinkled." I had to ask her why the attitude. Her disrespect continued! I corrected her and showed her that the address was very legible and clearly displayed, and when it was originally mailed, it was intacted, not ripped apart as it was now. As the returned reason was "vacant," I explained that the other mail sent there were delivered with no problem. She reiterated that my issue was not Hempstead's problem as they are separate and for me to contact Georgia. She abruptly closed the plastic sider window and walked away.

I had my mail forwarded on Sept 27. It takes 7-10 dys until you start receiving forwarded mail. As of today I haven't been receiving my mail. I've spoken with them and customer support several times. They have been very unhelpful and can't tell me where 2 months of mail is. My passport plus a package over $200 got delivered to my old address which I didnt receive and usps is not taking any responsibility. I'm currently trying to contact consumer affairs.

They scanned a package saying that I picked the package up I never left my house that day wasn’t even in the state. I’m going there this morning for them to explain who signed for my stuff

The post office workers refused to review damaged items that was requested via letter to bring to “a post office”. I provided the letter and even the manager refused service. If the rating doesn’t deter you and you have time, then please flood the office with dumb questions to make them work harder.

For 4 months I have not received my credit card billing statements on time as before .I have called the card company and they said the bills were sent but returned undelivered . Card company confirmed the correct address on phone call. I went to Fulton st. post office the clerk told me this could not have happened ,over talked me and refused to call his supervisor as I requested.He refused to listen.I left the post office disgusted.

This post office is awful the workers are lazy and dishonest they will mark your package as delivered/that you picked it up because they were too lazy to deliver it! If I could get my mail from a more competent and better post office I WOULD! I hate this post office and I hate that I can't get my mail from anywhere else! Fire everyone and start all over at this point!

Worst place ever went there to ship my packages the guy had such a nasty attitude and screamed at me because I said I wanted to put my package in a box. Then to top it off they put my label on someone else package and sent to gods knows we’re I need to know we’re is my package.

My mail lady Michelle is phenomenal what a great person she is. Michelle is a caring, professional, dedicated, lovely woman. In my area it’s not safe and she delivers the mail on time and with a smile never has an attitude I’m so grateful she was my mail lady and I appreciate her.

There were no Return Receipt forms laying around on the tables. In fact, the tables had dozens of cubby holes, but they were all completely empty! No forms at all! Must be on purpose -- for The Virus?So I got on line. Picked up the Return Receipt forms. Slunk away to a table to fill out the forms. After filling out the forms, I slunk back onto the back of the line -- again.Other choice was to try to step back in the front of the line, which appears like I'm cutting everybody -- or explain to everyone "I was already on line, but I had to fill out some forms..." I can't do that. Or, stand at the window and fill out the forms while everyone behind me is waiting, but there were only two windows active and it was clear they don't move too quickly, and I don't want to be the worst case. So that means back to the back of the line a 2nd time. A better option is to have the forms available at the tables so we don't have to get on the line twice. First time for everything; never saw this in any other post office.My first time at the Hempstead Post Office. Extended hours compared to every other post office, if you need it. Easy parking. If you tell googlemaps that you want to walk from the Chuck E Cheeze parking lot to the post office, it will tell you it's 370 feet away, will take 2 minutes to walk there, and there are a dozen stairs to get from the parking lot to the sidewalk.

I live in building and was waiting for delivery and i don't receive my item and i checked online it said delivered in mailbox and it's nothing on my mailbox they have lazy workers that's no good sometimes they just drop the notice and live they need change that peoples

I bought something off of ebay that was 500 dollars and the post office left it out in the rain and it got damaged.

They need to get they stuff together. Don’t know how to move the line and service people. You go to GC, the line moves quick.
