“Dollar Tree is a great cheap option for the little items you need. They have started getting in better items at more than their "dollar" limit but growth is good. Lines can be long but never too bad.”

“One of the best Dollar Tree stores in the area. It's organized, you can find what you need, and plus more. Loses a star because there were boxes in some of the aisles of things that needed to be stocked up, but you're still able to maneuver around them to navigate the store.”

“So my bride was assisting in a bridal shower and decided to go out of her mind overbuying things for the shower and we had to return a number of items. With any place returns suck. She asked me to go with her and to my amazement it was actually a pleasant surprise. We were first greeted by someone who I didn’t catch her name but she deferred us to Georgia who I’m sure had no interest in dealing with us but assisted with nothing but pleasantries. You gave us the prerequisite that we may not be able to exchange all items due to them not all being available at this specific location and we understood. We found our new items to take place of the previously purchased and came to the register. This was 10 mins before closing time. The transaction was swift and the conversation was pleasant. This blew my mind and I will never hesitate to shop at this location. This speaks volumes for a lost art of customer service. Her performance should be commended. Thank you Georgia!”
“This store is well stocked and has a variety of candies and other non-perishables, it's also generally tidy and organized. Recently, it appears they've added more items and increased shelf-space. My only complaint is the replacement of cashiers with self-checkout.”

“We love our Family Dollar. They always have the best prices around, plenty of well stocked products and a great selection of all kinds of products. Their brands of items are perfectly great and affordable. The staff are consistently courteous, professional, cheerful, and fun to chat with. We love the seasonal items. “Fine shopping center if I do say so myself. The tiled floor is ultra modern and is very inviting upon arrival... Nothing but the best! Such a great place in the thriving Waring Plaza.Although, I am sad to report that on one occasion I had a severe case a belotedness and as a result I laid a few farts in the store. The gal at the front end was deeply perturbed and grossed out. I had explained to her that the night before I had, on the request of a cool cat named Enrique, to try some rice and frijoles. Needless to say the meal "escaped me" and some farts escaped. This facility should be more sympathetic to one's bowels and gas output. Cheers!”

“So I come here on a regular occasion. I always walk in for 1 2 3 things. And I walk out with 20. So I was here yesterday and I did the same thing as I always do I came for two things and literally walked out with over $20 in stuff. I came back today because I ended up with a candy bar and my coat pocket that I did not pay for. I made sure to get here before they closed and the doors were locked 8 minutes before 9:00. I came all the way out here to return an item that was $1.25 due to a guilty conscious cuz I actually ended up eating the Godiva candy bar.. The employees came out at 9:00 and would not allow me to pay for this. They told me to keep it. I don't think it's their right to allow and or give something away being that it's not their money and they don't own the store.”
“great store large cheap selection however not many monkey items but you wouldn’t expect it because it’s not a monkey type of store only reason i leave 4 stars instead of 5 is because the manager lady is kinda mean.”

“Family Dollar on Portland Avenue and Draper Street is the usual one that I use. For the most part they have everything I need. And now that The Rite Aid pharmacy on Portland is closed, I seem to be going to Family dollar a little bit more. Can't quite figure out why I don't give it that fifth star but I'm sure it'll come to me soon.”

“Any time I’ve gone into the ER location, they’ve always been kind and helpful. If I have to wait in line, the cashier usually goes fast but I usually use the self checkout which is easy to use. They’re usually fully stocked on everything and I’ve never had an issue finding anything.”

I was particularly impressed with the wide selection of home goods, including soap, dish cleaning items, etc. They also had items for every single holiday simultaneously... Interesting. There is no handicapped accessible entrance here and no automatic door at the entrance.”
