Very friendly Volunteers. They provide a warming center in the winter time for the homeless. They provide a dinner 3x a week for those in need, Monday Wednesday, Friday. They also have a food pantry for those in need. Herkimer NY takes care of their people. In my experience the Herkimer Salvation Army goes above and beyond for the public, not to mention the Wonderful churches that provide meals also. A couple of the churches will also help with clothing and necessities for those in need❣️

This place is better than DSS by miles and days they really care here and will help you if you are struggling! :)FirstlyI can't thank you all enough the amount of help friendliness and care you guys put out is truly a blessing the state doesn't help many people based on gross incomes but when I visit and receive help from you all its always been greatly exceeds expectations the system you guys have set up where you pick your foods for the food pantry on the paper is excellent and you are all fast when you do it foods out and ready to go they have smiles and warmth in their hearts and do care about helping I could go on for day's they are great people and have a a nice selection of foods from cheese to chicken eggs rice pasta tomato sauce ramen and more thank you everyone at the Herkimer salvation army for what you do

the commanders!!! and the hypocrite ppl in the church .... like ppl wearing uniforms that drink or one that isn't married yet and that bee what 2 years now... and the fact that they need to clean the church up ... I grow up in that church and I have never seen it filthy.... u ask I told....
