Pickens Hall & General Store is a favorite stop, offering a walk into an old time general store with a modern flair. It features very natural items, beautiful arts & crafts, and locally made products from local artisans and the Amish community, including furniture, clothing, and household items. Shoppers find practical and beautiful gifts, eclectic items, interesting regional food and crafts, fresh cheese curds, meats, and everything needed to bake and cook. The gift shop is full of Americana. The atmosphere is great, with wonderful people and a hard-to-find paraphernalia. The third floor also hosts an opera house for concerts.
