I placed an order online for a leaf blower to be picked up later in the day. When I called, the gentleman who picked up the phone said that they don’t have it in stock and they checked the warehouse and it is out of stock. He said I would have to check another store. Before having a second to ask for an alternative option or him having the instinct to offer me an alternative product to gain my business, he simply hung up the phone. I guess I’ll just order it online while people keep complaining about brick and mortar stores not being able to compete anymore.

Our local Ace Hardware provides outstanding customer service every time! The staff is polite, professional and very patient. Equally as important, they always have what I need at reasonable prices.

Bad experience buying online. The web says ready in 15 minutes. They gave me 4 days to get my items (screwdriver and drill bits) and cancel 1 item because it is not in stock (a scraper). So, I not have my tools yet and the refund is either.

For local smaller shop they got a decent selection and they're helpful. Not comparable to larger stores in the area like home Depot or Lowe's in terms of selection and serbices offered, but they'll actually offer to help and fairly priced.

Every single staff member is incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. You can barely set foot in the store without someone asking how they can help you, and directing you to exactly what you need. All of our trips there are productive and efficient!

This is a very friendly local business with a team of dedicated employees. I highly recommend two purchase from this business.I went looking for a small wood screw For a piece of ikea furniture. It was an odd size. The manager spent a few minutes looking for the screw a very inexpensive item. He gave me his time attention and service as if I was spending a thousand dollars.

Like others have said, it's a "friendly local business". It's not a mom and pop hardware store though, it's still ACE, a national chain. The problem is that it's run like a mom and pop when it's not. The stock of items listed online is often inaccurate, sizes are wrong, parts listed in stock online aren't there etc. I expect this stuff from the standard "big box" stores, items go "missing" etc., but literally the only reason I go to ACE is when I REALLY need a specific item quickly, because they're local and closer to home. If it says you have it online, and it says you have it in your system, then you should have it, period. If you don't have it, then I might as well go to the big box store the following day where I know they'll have the part I'm looking for, or better yet just order it online. I can overlook the frequently inflated prices that ACE has, I can overlook the smaller selection, what I can't overlook is incorrect stock. Hopefully these issues can be rectified in the future by running a full store inventory and comparing it to what they say they have online, because my patience is starting to run short with the number of times I've come and they don't have what they say they do.

Very nice, compare to home depot, the employees there, think they own the company and they do not need to serve you. Go to Ace , you will love it, nice, clean and very organized, Love it.
