Came in for my second dose of hep A vaccine and they gave me hep B instead. I came in and informed them that I had an appt for Hep A, they gave me a shot shortly later. When I checked my email, I noticed cvs had send appt email for Hep B (appt made by the employee when I asked for the Hep A vaccine)
Thinking that it must be a mistake, I checked my vaccine records and confirmed that they had indeed given me Hep B instead of A. When I came in, they didn't even ask for my driver's license or insurance card, and clearly didn't bother checking my vaccine record or appts (Already had 1st hep A dose several months ago and had appt for 2nd dose for that day). Lazy work that resulted in a ridiculous mistake.

I am writing to complain about the unacceptable and repeated experiences I have had at the CVS located at 202 Old Country Road, Hicksville, NY 11801 primarily due to the store managerās consistent lack of professionalism, poor leadership, and total disregard for customer service.
On my most recent visit on June 3rd, 2025, I waited over 30 minutes to pick up a prescription despite there being three pharmacists on duty, as I was told by the store manager. When I asked about the delay, the store manager, VJ curtly responded, āYou have to wait if thereās an issue.ā When I asked if all three pharmacists were unavailable, he flatly said, āYes,ā and walked away - offering no apology, no explanation, and no assurance. During this time, over 20 customers were in line, clearly frustrated and confused by the delay.
Eventually, he did open another counter, but only after I complained about the delay. Another customer even thanked me for speaking up, as it finally led to some movement. When I finally received my medication and calmly expressed that it was the longest Iāve ever waited, he said, āBe happy you got your medication. Youāre wasting other peopleās time, and I am happy not to talk to you. This kind of hostile, condescending behavior is entirely unacceptable from anyone, let alone someone in a management role.
Unfortunately, this is not the first time Iāve experienced issues at this location. On a previous occasion, I waited weeks for a prescription, with no status updates or outreach from the pharmacy. When I called the store for assistance, the same manager dismissed my concerns and told me to call a customer service line and leave a message, rather than trying to assist me directly or showing any initiative to resolve the issue. Again, no empathy, no effortājust deflection and indifference.
This manager has repeatedly demonstrated a complete lack of basic customer service skills, poor communication, no ownership of store operations, and an overall disregard for customers . The employees at the store appear stressed and unsupported, while the manager continues to behave as if helping customers is beneath him.
I was once a loyal customer of this location. It used to be well-run and reliable. Sadly, under this managerās leadership, it has become one of the worst CVS stores Iāve encountered on Long Islandāas reflected in its 2.8-star rating on Google Reviews, which mirrors the poor experiences Iāve had.
If I could give zero stars, I would. I intend to switch to another pharmacy and urge others to avoid this location unless CVS takes real action.
If you've had a similar experience, I encourage you to share your story too.
I urge CVS to take this matter seriously and investigate the conduct and management at this store. This is not simply a customer service issueāit reflects a deeper systemic failure that is undermining trust in your brand.

All coupons system is a scam, nothing works and checkout machines are pathetic and staff is completely untrained. All products are not upgraded and not on the right places and sales promotions on the coupon are completely misleading. Itās a waste of times to shop there.

This pharmacy is exceptional. All the pharmacists are very helpful when you need assistance with medications. Today, Sarah went above and beyond to help me select the right over the counter medication for my 4-year-old. I hope the pharmacy team recognize her. Thank you so much!

The store manager in the morning today is absolutely rubbish, and should be fired immediately. He didnāt provide any customer service at all. Raised his voice to me when I just answered what I want. And told me to come back when another store manager are here. Itās not my fault if you are not educating well. And you should be ashamed of yourself when you talk to a customer like that.

The manager at the checkout his name is Mike should be fired. He refused to let me checkout my snacks and he kicked me out while I was trying to pick up my medication. You donāt deny a patient from getting his medication especially if the patient is severely ill

Absolute garbage customer service. Only use this location as I have small children and it is one of the few 24 hour pharmacies around. EVERY SINGLE TIME I have to pick up a prescription, there is a wait (despite being told it's ready), the staff is rude, etc. If it weren't for having a captive audience, I doubt this location would survive.
