i brought in a bunch of jewelry to sell. the girl took the diamond heart off the necklace and scooped up everything but the diamond heart to give back to me! didn't realize until i was home. i called and of course she said she didn't have it. to top it off she offered $400 less then 2 other stores i went to.

Gem pawn is one of my favorite places to shop for electronics. When I'm in the Hicksville area I go to gem pawn and get good prices and gear. Shamara always pleasant with good customer service skills.

First time dealing with this establishment I was nervous in the beginning but the professional staff reassured me. Since I didn’t want to risk parting with my valued pieces but I left feeling confident that they will be kept safely. I collected my pieces today and it was a smooth transaction from the beginning to the end. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. Trust and integrity works for me.

Shamara is the new manager here and is a nightmare. She purposely googles the lowest price your item is being sold for and gives you nothing. I gave her 1,400 Gucci boots and she gave me 300. I tried to put my 6,000 Diamond engagement ring on loan and was previously given 1,000 which is terrible enough but she decided she wouldn’t give me the same loan I had. She is terrible. I will never do business here again. She gives prices that I can only assume an addict would accept. If you want 30.00 for 500.00 dollar Celine shades then by all means. She is the worse manager I have ever dealt with. I’ve been doing business with gem for years. Don’t do business here ever!! Shamara is a crook. She will give you 300 and sell your item for 1,000. Greedy business!!
