“Planets and planting needs and house hold supply forget Walmart, Target and other stores. The store have the cheapest supplies for dishwashing liquid to soap powder to air with supply to hold a variety of mops, brooms, toilet papers, etc. I love it.”
“Matt is a Mensch. Not only is he a hell of a nice guy, but he’s a rare craftsman who cares passionately about the quality of his work and customer satisfaction.
I have had numerous bad experiences with GC’s. Not this time. He came in and rebuilt an ill installed shower saddle abandoned by a previous contractor, and fixed it perfectly for a reasonable price.
I wouldn’t hesitate to hire him again.

“One of the better Home Depots I've been to.
I'm a retired electrician that's been to them in all 5 boros.
Some places looked sloppy with lazy workers.
This specific Home Depot was very neat & had everything we needed.
One of the workers spent a lot of time with me trying help me find a specific tool for a project.
Also helped my Nephew find what he needed.
The workers in this place seemed happy to work there. They kept the place clean. Which is very important when you're trying to find a device amongst thousands of other devices.
I can safely recommend this Home Depot.
The only caviat was no security in the parking lot which no places really have but all need.
You have to have eyes behind your head when you're out now crime is a big problem everywhere and vagrancy. If they don't get it under control everyone will start ordering stuff online and jobs will be lost. Put some security in the parking lots.”

“Went to Lowe's looking for carpet, John Diaz and Ram went far and beyond to help me get carpet for my steps. They showed me two carpets, one was olufin which I didn't like and then Ram showed me a nylon fiber berber which was great. They are great, i wish all Lowe's had workers like these two!....”

“I recently attended the Home Depot Kids Weekend Workshop with my 6-year-old, and it was a delightful experience! The workshop was well-organized, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. My child had a fantastic time building a small project, and it was heartwarming to see their pride in the finished product. The materials provided were of good quality, and the instructions were easy to follow, making it a stress-free activity for both of us. Overall, it was a wonderful bonding experience, and we look forward to attending more workshops in the future. Highly recommended for a fun and educational weekend outing!”
“Reminds me of the old fashioned hardware stores my father used to take me to on weekends when he'd be doing chores. I needed an obscure nut for a very old bolt on an old house. The guy there couldn't find it among the racks and could've easily said they don't have it, but instead he asked if I had a few minutes to wait and then disappeared into the basement I think. Came back about 10 minutes later with a whole box of them so I could see which one fit the best. They just don't do things like that anymore in this high speed Amazon world. He went the extra distance for me and I'll always give a shout out to excellent service.”

The owner Andy has a wealth of knowledge and information. He and happy to help with all issues big or small. The employees are also very knowledgeable and lovely to deal with.”
“Renovated our den, and our contractor had the cabinets and countertop manufactured by Express Kitchen.
The countertop is 13 feet long, so they had to make 2 separate pieces.
If I don’t show you where the seam is, you won’t find it - they did a fantastic job merging the 2 pieces together.
My den floor is not level, so they added a small moulding to the bottom of the cabinets, hiding the gaps.
I highly recommend them.”

“The Hempstead location is better than most Home Depot stores. Disappointing that just about all of the stores are filthy. The stock on the shelves throughout the stores is covered with a layer of dirt, dust and debris. It’s also very difficult to find a representative to give locations of items and advice on your project. You are forced to wander around the aisle’s trying to find your items. They sometimes don’t know the location of items as well. Very few if any human checkers. Forced to use the self checkout. Annoying.”

The garden center here is surprisingly well-maintained, especially since it's mid-season. The hydrangeas were so beautiful and half off!
It is nice to be able to shop here again. The management has cleaned up all of the clusters of day laborers that would stalk customers in and out of the store to the car. I used to avoid going here because it was so scary. Glad they took action.”
