I have been a parishioner of St. Ignatius for 46 years. The priests and staff have always been warm and welcoming. My children received their sacraments here and I became involved in the Religious Education Program for 35 years which helped deepen my faith. I was saddened to read the review of a parishioner who had a bad experience in the Religious Education Program. She said she was outside the building so it may have been possible that the person who was rude and disrespectful to her may not have been a teacher at all. I hope that she returns and has a better experience. The pastor here is so kind, understanding, welcoming and open to many suggestions. St. Ignatius is a landmark here in Hicksville and is a beautiful Church both inside and out.

Warm friendly greeting from the usher at the door and escortedtoo any seat of my choice. Singing and Praising ALMIGHTY FATHER GOD no restrictions. The priest will season in the Bible knowledge delivery a sweet message, the cross is signed he explain why also why Communion is given and than he and others served all present. Prayed, blessings of the cross dismissed service over. 🙏
