I would give a 0 star if I could.
I needed to pick up a prescription ordered by my doctor the day before my major surgery. I first went to the CVS across the street, but they said they didn’t have the medication in stock. So I called this Walgreens, and they told me they did have it. I hurried over, only to be told that CVS had to call them directly for a prescription transfer.
CVS wasn’t answering the phone, so I walked back and explained the situation. A CVS staff member kindly tried calling Walgreens and stayed on the line for 10 minutes, but no one picked up. (I was there watching).
Frustrated but desperate to get the medication I needed for my surgery at 6 a.m. the next morning, I went back to Walgreens to explain again. They simply repeated that I needed to have CVS call them. I asked them if they could call CVS this time because obviously they tried and Walgreens didn’t pick up. They refused.
I was beyond frustrated. I needed this medication and felt completely helpless. Communication was difficult, and I was stuck going back and forth. While I was walking back again to CVS, they finally managed to get through to Walgreens and the prescription was successfully transferred at last.
CVS has its own issues, but Walgreens staff were incompetent, rude, lazy, and clearly didn’t care. What shocked me the most was that one of them even told me I didn’t need the medication. Are they doctors now? There was one employee in particular who was especially unprofessional and disrespectful.
This happened a few months ago, but the experience was so stressful that I still haven’t forgotten it.

I had a great experience with the lovely female employee that had her hair tied back and worked today around 3:00 p.m. I was approached while shopping and she assisted promptly with the product I was looking for. The store did not have the larger size, but the employee displayed a genuine interest in caring for my health needs, offering alternatives, and listening carefully to the details related to my product request. Thank you.

Pharmacy staff was helpful and patient. Haven’t experienced any of the “outrage” other reviews mentioned…

This is probably one of the worst pharmacies I’ve ever been to. There is lack of competency from the staff. The wait time is crazy long not to mention. No one answers the phone when you call. My prescription is either never ready half ready or ready, but then you come to pick up and it’s really not ready. Forget drive thru unless you want to wait and stare at a window that no one attends to. I don’t know why anyone would want to go through so much stress trying to get their rx from here.

no stars if i could give that few. the worst pharmacy experience I've ever had. rude pharmacists seem like they are miserable at their jobs and it shows. will pick up one last prescription and then it's good riddance to them. you figure after all these crappy reviews they'd get it. where is store management correcting the problem?

Awful pharmacy experience. Has the doctor send over the prescriptions multiple times and 5 hours later my medicine was still not ready. I wasted a full day off from work with no medication and then when i called the pharmacy i had a rude woman argue with me claiming that she has no prescription in the system after i went and waited an hour for a staff member to “work on the prescription” that was clearly in their system. After an hour of waiting i left and waited another hour before calling them and having the woman tell me there’s no prescription in the system. So unprofessional and confusing for no reason. I have now waited 9 hours and still no medication for my tonsillitis. Ridiculous and inadequate workers.

overall one of the worst staffed pharmacies that I have ever gone to. The people behind the counter are usually nice, but many times there is just one person left to man the counter and the drive thru. Some people bounce back and forth, others leave the drive thru to suffer until the line in the store is taken care of. completely hit or miss.

There were three cars already waiting when I got to the drive through, so I figured I’d stay. But after 15 minutes only two cars had gone through and the lady in front of me seemed terribly annoyed at not being helped yet. I decided to leave. Never again!

They knew what I wanted before I asked

Pharmacy lied about not being able to move prescription, then lied about getting the script filled before the manager finally admitted it was on backorder. Never ended up being able to get my medicine from here. By far the worst experience I've ever had with a pharmacy.

They literally suck at answering the phone. I’ve been on hold 20 mins. Someone picks up and then immediately puts you on hold, like ?? Hire someone to answer the phones since it’s SOOOOO hard to multitask over here!

The worst wouldn't recommend anyone to use the pharmacy department. You could be dying and they would just stand there and watch. Not there to help you but to just collect a paycheck.

Rude arrogant unprofessional attitude zero stars to be perfectly honest is more applicable!!! Didn’t respect patient privacy or rights discretion!!! Discrimination eye rolling !!! Disregarding patient primacy laws by screaming across other customer in full view!!!

This is specifically towards there pharmacy. People are rude, unhelpful and completely miserable. My 75 year old gma had major oral surgery and was told by her doctor to take pain meds around the clock. Well. Walgreens had other plans when they decided to make a huge ordeal over the script she was given. Then we had the surgeon call the pharmacist to confirm the script and they had her wait for 40 mins on hold. Then told us after all was confirmed that we will need to wait another 2 hours for this script. When asked for a supervisor we were ofcourse told he was not there. Now my grandmother is sitting in agony waiting for her script to be given. These people are despicable . We all know the entire world doesn't want to work but holy crap, can it get any worse ?

Wait is always over 20 mins. CVS is much better. They are understaffed and there is only one person in store and drive through.
