Great store to shop at. Never noticed the EV charging stations before, but that's cool to know. The store is clean and organized, and the ambiance is friendly. The cashiers are ok, didn't have any problem at all.

Stopped by Stop & Shop to get some quick desserts... Ample space in the parking lot. They have a variety of desserts to choose from in their bakery. Staff is friendly and helpful. The mini desserts are good enough to share. Don't forget the birthday candles..they have additional choices to select from in the cake decorating aisle. Full supermarket for groceries... check out their weekly sales and don't forget to add coupons to your Stop & Shop card for additional savings.

Sorry, not sorry! This store is under renovation so my issue should not be a surprise to me. Purchased ricotta cheese only to get home and find out it was spoiled. Either a customer left it in an isle or the refrigerators they were rearranging had failed. Naturally we made the discovery as dinner was finished. A gigantic fail, check your products before leaving the store.

This store has a guy that wipes the handle down after you bring your pushed, biggie in.. we already wiped ours down before we touch it, but the effort was so pleasing and gave me a good impression. So they get 3 stars and the loss off the 2 stars was the line to wait to get to a register and milk on the conveyor belt unwiped . Do you know how unpleasant that ha to have your food set in drops of milk .. I should have gone back to New Hyde Park

This location is NOT enforcing covid rules as they should!! Employees informed a customer that he needed a mask when he walked into the store without one. He simply said he forgot it and they allowed him to continue shopping. THIS STUPIDITY IS WHY CASES ARE UP!! This happened at 9:15PM on December 21. Do your damn job right!

Shopped there today. As I was leaving I had to go to the customer service area. Behind the counter was a young, masked man and an older woman who had her mask pulled down serving people. When I complained about her mask, she started arguing with me that she had just gotten back from break, and throughout did not pull up her mask. As she had been behind the counter when I arrived and there were three people before me, she had not just gotten back from break. But, even if she had, she should have masked properly when she came back. I left the store without conducting my business.

You need to check the expiration dates on the chicken and other meats because twice I've bought chicken only to bring it home and then notice the sell by date was two days earlier. Doesn't take much for them to check dates on items out for sale. If they let that go, I can only imagine what else they let go.

If I could give them zero stars I would. The staff, especially the lady taking care of the you-check 'em lines, is rude and disrespectful. She turns her back on people and walks away while someone is still talking to her. The store is price gouging during the Corona-virus crisis. They say they are assisting social distancing with one-way lanes but they don't enforce it. Their freezers are bare and what they do have is way overpriced.

I am NOT a fan of Stop & Shops at all. I have been to multiple occasions and they all seem dirty to me. The nicest part about them are those d*** robots that detect spills in the aisles lol ...Shoprite, Hmart and Whole Foods are ALL much nicer and cleaner. The only reason I was going here was because I needed to get stuff from the pharmacy. I definitely recommend trying other supermarkets and leave this one for a last resort option.

Tonight on September 3, 2019 at approximately 9:30 PM, I was food shopping and heard several Stop & Shop employees at the registers yelling at a man that was walking out with an entire cart full of food without paying for it. A young worker named Aaron stopped him and a manager with glasses I don't know his name went outside as well and they retrieved the cart full of food. I found out what happened, then asked Aaron and the manager aren't you going to follow up with the police? Aaron responded "nah, they don't pay me enough to do all that" and the manager had a weak smile on his face and was beet red. I as a customer, as well as others I spoke to tonight, are concerned about our safety and find it completely unacceptable that management or staff will not follow up with police on this incident or similar ones that have occurred in the past. What if he returns with a gun next time and goes on a shooting spree? These are real concerns that have to be addressed in a professional manner. If this manager won't step up to the plate and act like a manager, find someone to replace him, and while you're at it replace the employees with the piss poor attitudes. I heard one person say teamwork makes the dream work in reference to the situation that they were talking about 20 minutes later, but what teamwork was shown? How is the team protecting its customers or themselves with such a lackluster attitude? I would rather drive further and go to a better supermarket than deal with this one any longer.

This store can't get its act together! Very Poor service, they have kiosks operating for their deli department that they don't answer to, they are set up for you to place your order while you shop and when your done with your shopping the never got the order. and when they get your order its never the way you ordered your cold cuts, ie.. I ordered a half pound of ham sliced thinnest, I get a pound of ten slices sliced thick and so fourth with the rest of the order. I'm going back to Stu Leonards deli, at least they listen, and try to complain to their management, we'll they'll see when what happened waldbaums, will de their destiny, Don't shop there!

The only pleasant thing about this store is, well it's actually only one person there that's always visibly busting her butt and still manages to make my deli stops feel like I'm going to a family member's house. Ms. Merchant is what those lazy, texting imbeciles should be directed by management to emulate. By far Ms. Merchant is Stop-n-Shop's best employee, how long before she can manage her own department. I have witnessed her running the deli like a well oiled machine. But only when her coworkers are listening and following her instruction. Thumbs-up to you Ms. Merchant.

This location is higher priced than some of the other locations! Like 10, 15 and 20 % higher on practically everything in the store! F that !! I live near the Huntington store - and their prices are fair to very good! And that's NOT a poor neighborhood! It's an upscale town!! YOU are paying higher prices because of the filthy old rich crotch people in Old Westbury-- they have no clue when something like Blue Diamond Smokehouse Almonds is $3.29 at Target , $3.69 at other Stop N' Shops and $3.99 HERE at this location! Do you think they care ? Do you think they give a crap about US while driving their Bentley or Porsche ?? LOL ! AVOID- you're getting ripped off here! Go to the WalMart Supermarket on Hempstead Turnpike and pay like, 1/3rd less than here !! F the rich ! #NassauCountyisaMoneyVampire
