The 50-minute drive from my house was well worth it! It was easy to make an appointment with James, and he listened to my ideas and created a very special pendant using my parents' wedding rings. He also created a pair of earrings using the diamond from my mom's engagement ring and a matching diamond that he sourced. I am very happy with both pieces!! James is working on some additional pieces of jewelry for me as well. I can't wait to see them!!”

“My favorite jeweler! The owner (Carl) is very knowledgeable and has a beautiful selection of new and vintage jewelry (my favorite). My husband and I picked out a gorgeous pearl choker with a diamond clasp. Carl made a gorgeous pearl and diamond set of earrings to go with the necklace. I’ve had several pieces of jewelry repaired and they were repaired perfectly. I no longer live in the area but would definitely travel to GHS whenever I buy fine jewelry. Prices are reasonable.”

If you love Bakelite, be sure to see the man on the right when you first walk in. We can't wait to go back. Great service with friendly people.”
“I recently visited Newburgh Beauty Supply and would rate it 5 stars. This nice little shop has a lot to offer with its extensive selection of natural oils and black skin and hair care products. The staff, while not the most knowledgeable about their products, are very nice and helpful, making the shopping experience pleasant.
One of the highlights of this store is its impressive range of products tailored for natural hair and skin care. As someone who travels all the way from Wallkill to maintain my skin and hair routine, I find it worth the trip. The prices are standard for such products, although I had hoped for more affordability given its somewhat remote location.
The cleanliness of the store is also noteworthy. It's always well-maintained, adding to the overall positive shopping experience. Despite the minor drawbacks, this beauty supply store meets my needs, and I'll continue to make the journey for their excellent range of products.”

“We have been coming here for years. I have had earrings and 3 wedding rings re-set into yellow gold with additional small diamonds added. This trip was because I stupidly took my rings off and lost them in a parking lot for a few hours. When I (so thankfully) found them they had been run over and bent. I immediately took them here and again was so blown away by the professionalism, service, attention to detail, and very fast turn around time. I brought my rings in on a Saturday morning and they were fixed, checked, and polished by Monday morning so I could have them back before Thanksgiving. They are back to brand new and so shiny! I could not recommend this jeweler more - he is fantastic and we will be coming here for all our needs in the future. I recommend him to everyone I know!”

Of all the storefronts on the increasingly popular Beacon Main Street I always am most excited to step into Notions and Potions. I’ve also had a lovely tarot reading from a woman named Julie or Julia (if I remember correctly), she was a gem. I feel to enjoy the experience you just need to have respect for the energy you walk into and you will receive that energy in kind.
