The owner is a liar!! He promised us a refund on our deposit when we quickly realized the location wouldn’t work for us. He had excuse after excuse before he ghosted us. He can’t be trusted at all!!

It was a real pleasure getting to know the owner, Billiam, he is a very genuine person and during our initial tour he gave us a beautiful tour of the farm and the venue and he is so friendly, he even made us a homemade soup because we visited in the winter.Billiam also provided us with a food vendor who was phenomenal and very familiar with the liberty view farm so the workflow would be seamless.Gorgeous location! Fantastic help couldn’t recommend more!

A beautiful space but unfortunately we cannot recommend LVF as a wedding venue because the owner/sole point of contact Billiam was extremely unreliable and difficult throughout. We had semi-weekly calls where he often made promises he would entirely forget about by the next call. The first sign should have been when we contacted potential caterers and two told us they refused to work at LVF after past bad experiences.Just a few examples of the biggest issues: at 10:30am the day of the wedding he texted that he had decided to change the ceremony location due to weather even though he told us the night before that we could decide at 11:30. He also picked a different indoor location than the one we had discussed which would create significant logistical issues for the reception. Billiam then refused to pick up the phone, sent all our calls immediately to voicemail, and did not respond to texts until members of the wedding party physically found him and asked him to change to a different indoor location. This was extremely stressful to deal with the morning of the wedding while I was getting hair and makeup done.Billiam promised he had two chuppahs (a ceremonial structure necessary for Jewish weddings) and he even sent pictures. On the day of the wedding, it turned out that was a lie and he instead built a shaky arch which was not religiously compliant but it was too late to change. At some point Billiam's stove was repossessed due to what he claimed was a misunderstanding. After several weeks, he purchased a worse stove but assured us in writing he would rent a proper convection oven for our wedding. Even on the morning of the wedding, he reassured us. That was a lie and our caterer had to hire extra (expensive) kitchen staff to compensate.Because he was the only point of contact, when Billiam fell ill after our wedding, it meant he took an extra month (and a ton of follow up) past the contractually-agreed deadline for us to receive our deposit back.

Buyer beware - there are negative reviews online about the owner's erratic behavior, and they are true, even if some people had great experiences. Consider seriously if your wedding is the time to take the risk. If you want unpredictability and untruths, this is the place for you. My fiancé and I were excited to get married at Liberty View Farm, and had prepared to make a deposit and sign the contract. Given the all-inclusive nature and high cost of the venue, we wanted to ensure we had our caterer lined up, as the two biggest pieces of the wedding, before we committed. This took a few weeks, but we kept in frequent contact with Billiam, the proprietor, to ensure our date was penciled in and secure. He repeatedly assured us that he was keeping the date for us, both orally and in writing, and repeatedly reassured us not to "stress." He said that we had a deal.A few days prior to our visit to make the deposit and sign the contract, we had questions for him - and he completely ghosted us. He refused to respond to our communications, and then unceremoniously let us know that our spot had been taken. No warning, no conversation. We pleaded with him - but nope, he coldly let us know that he had leveraged our agreed upon price to get higher bids from other couples, because he had just created an instagram that was getting traction. We were panicked and desperate - and he let us know there was another option - a golf course that he has some ownership stake of. Despite now understanding how untrustworthy he is, we were seriously considering it, and asked some questions to see if we could make it work. Once again, he refused to answer us. And then - when we had decided we had to move on and find another venue - he decided to use the October 7th massacre of Jews in Israel against us (we are Jewish and had previous conversations about our background). Unsolicited, he texted to let us know that given the atrocities, he would cease planning celebrations at this time - and would not be communicating with us. Talk about adding insult to injury. And this is not the first online review from a Jewish person he's ghosted. If you move forward with him, he will most certainly try to explain these serious red flags away, but is that the kind of person you want to work with?

Everything about this place is magical! My sister got married here last weekend and it was perfect. I can’t begin to describe how amazing Billiam and his team are. We had the most incredible time! I’d recommend this venue to everyone!

I do not even know where to begin in expressing my gratitude for Billiam and his entire team. From start to finish we had a stress free and dream experience. Billiam stayed in constant contact with us throughout the process and provided us with his most trusted vendors.Friday we had the most magical, fairytale welcome dinner. When I walked in and saw the lights spread over the trees and gorgeous flowers set up my eyes filled with tears at the creativity and thoughtfulness of Biliam and his team. It is hard to even describe how beautiful and romantic it was. Our guests cozied up by fire pits and ate under the stars. Everyone told us it was one of the most beautiful nights they had ever been apart of.Saturday we were nervous about the rainy forecast. When we saw the backup plan, we shouldn't have worried at all. The team converted the tent into an intimate ceremony and escorted our guests via umbrella to their seats. I know it was a lot of work behind the scenes but for us, it was seamless. There are not enough words to describe how beautiful it was.Billiam and Cathy always made sure we were well fed and truly took time to experience our wedding. We were a bride and groom who got to enjoy their wedding as much as our guest.Anything we needed was handled with ease by Billiam and Magic Cathy. They truly make magic happen! Their support and care with our wedding made our entire experience so enjoyable. I know other brides often felt like they couldn't reach their venue, but I never experienced that feeling. Billiam was constantly available to us to answer our nervous questions, provide advice and over that time became a dear friend. My husband and I will truly miss working with this team. We would recommend this venue to anyone looking to have a beautiful, intimate wedding that your guests will never forget. "Best wedding ever!" was a near constant refrain.

Every aspect of my sisters wedding weekend was magic. But beyond the weekend itself everything leading up to the important event was handled with detail and care. Billiam goes out of his way to connect with couples and ensure they have as little worry as possible. I have never seen a more relaxed and happy couple while planning a wedding and it’s all thanks to Billiam and his team. The day of it rained…. but that did not impact the beauty of the wedding at all. In fact it became a more intimate affair that created memories for a life time.

Words fail when trying to convey how unbelievably perfect this venue is. The owner, Billiam, is authentic, generous, hands on and makes you feel at home. In fact, my husband and I had the honor of staying at his antique, comfortable farmhouse on property. The gardens rival many at famous mansions around the world and their bounty provided color to the tables, bathrooms etc. Evonne provided the flower artistry among his many talents. Cathy, otherwise known as Magic Cathy, orchestrated each detail along with Billiam and the unnamed men and women who graciously attended to our every need. The rehearsal/welcome dinner in the orchard again was breathtaking. Lights provided by chandeliers hung on tree branches, lanterns carefully placed provided a fairytale setting for our daughter's dream wedding.Rain on the actual wedding day was not a problem for this team of professionals. Umbrellas appeared without asking and the bride and party remained unscathed. The tent was gorgeous with candles, and yet more beautiful flowers. The barn was transformed into a dancing area making conversation in the separate tent easy. Later the barn became a silent disco center. The comments we received by guests were overwhelmingly the best wedding ever.I concur and am grateful that Billiam was at the helm to treat my daughter as his own. Can you tell we love this place and the people even more!!

Was there for a wedding. What a muddy mess! Yes, it rained a lot. But the roads around the venue are not graveled so guests had to navigate through water and muddy potholes. And the tent was erected over gravel which made it really tough for all the ladies wearing heals to move around the space. Plus the bathroom was disgusting. Plenty of other venues around where there is better preparation for celebrations.

Our daughter and son-in-law looked at a number of venues and after seeing LVF could not imagine their wedding anywhere else. The entire wedding weekend in July 2023 lived up to their dreams. Billiam, Cathy and the entire LVF team went to great lengths to ensure that it was a beautiful, magical wedding from beginning to end. Seeing our daughter and son-in-law over-the-moon happy and all the guests having the time of their lives in the most gorgeous of settings brought my husband and me so much joy and wonderful memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you, LVF!

I cannot express how beautiful our wedding day was all due to the work of Billiam and his crew. We had a small 50 person Sunday event with a beautiful dinner reception in the enchanted orchard. The venue is like a dream, with flowers blooming and charming details everywhere. I placed all my trust in billiam’s taste in decor and advise on the ceremony and I am so happy I did! His years of wedding experience is unbeatable. Magic cathy and Stacy who helped serve the food and arrange everything were so friendly (felt like family by the end of the event) and were very punctual. The combination of the beautiful venue and all the people who are part of Liberty view farms made the day absolutely perfect. I want to relive every moment !

We had our wedding at Liberty View Farm in September 2022. Billiam and Cathy weren’t just venue hosts, they were fantastic wedding planners and were with us every step of the planning process. Aside from myself and my husband, no one was more invested in ensuring our wedding weekend was a success than Billiam and Cathy. They helped with vendor recommendations, even confirming our photographer and caterer were available before we reached out, lodging, wedding weekend itinerary, and final setup and decorations. Our wedding weekend was a dream and we received nonstop compliments from guests on everything from the farm gardens to the flow of the weekend events. Of course there is a price to hosting a wedding here but we absolutely got our moneys worth over the course of the weekend. We can’t thank Billiam and Cathy enough for their help planning our unforgettable wedding weekend!

My husband and I got married at Liberty View Farm last month and it was the most magical experience of our lives - we are still hearing from guests about how special, warm and beautiful our wedding weekend was - even our photographer told us it was "hands down, one of [her] absolute favorite weddings!" In the week leading up to the wedding, the farm experienced unprecedented rain - Billiam, Cathy, and their staff worked tirelessly to ensure that the farm was ready and fully recovered in time for the wedding weekend. Any hiccups that occurred during the wedding weekend with other vendors, etc (issues with our buses, ice melting because it was incredibly hot), Billiam and his staff handled quietly behind the scenes to ensure the day went seamlessly, making trips out to get ice and working with the bus company to ensure all of our guests arrived on time - all of this done unbeknownst and unprompted by us. There are so many details that go into a wedding weekend, and it was so helpful to have Billiam connect us with different local vendors throughout the planning process. We go to many many many weddings and didn’t want a “cookie cutter” wedding - we knew that our wedding would be big (250 people), but wanted it to still feel intimate - and that’s exactly how the whole weekend felt. Our guests enjoyed exploring the property's many gardens, dancing in the orchard, and taking in all of the personalized details. From the rehearsal dinner/welcome party, to the ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, after-party, and Sunday brunch, every aspect of the weekend was exactly how we envisioned it - personalized, charming, and enchanting. If you are looking for a “cookie cutter” wedding, this place isn’t for you. However, if you are looking for a wedding that is unique to you as a couple, in a beautiful setting, surrounded by a wonderful, happy, caring staff who will bend over backwards to ensure that you have the wedding weekend you envision - look no further than LVF.

I was very interested in this venue for my daughter. Spoke to the owner for half an hour. Then tried to book a tour. He initially agreed to a date and time that would accommodate his sailing schedule but texted back that he had a sudden dentist appointment along with asking if this was a Jewish wedding. I never heard from him again. My daughter also tried to reach out to him with no response. Absolutely would not recommend this venue to anyone.
