Service was extremely slow. Must have been a combination of the kitchen and waitstaff. We waited over an hour for our food and it was just warm when we got it.

Food was just fine. Reasonable prices. On the day we were there, the special was "Jitterbug with Fries", which was a hamburger on white bread with gravy. That should let you know if this is your place or not.Edited to add: Note that this place has undergone a change of ownership. Formerly called "O's", it is now "Sweet Pea's".

I want to preface this by saying this is the first diner I've been to probably ever. So what are negatives for me might be positives for others. The rye toast was extraordinarily oily--if you stab it with your fork, oil pours out. Secondly, the omelette and potatoes were very homemade tasting in a not great way. The omelette wasn't even folded, it was made on a pan, cooked fully, then folded after. Also, no cheese in the omelette which surprised me. Lastly, I don't recall seeing anything with passable amounts of vegetables on the menu. I do think this is a typical and classic diner experience though, so if that's what you're looking for, this is it.

This place was awesome to begin with -- delighting locals and weekend people alike. Now can't wait to see what fresh wonders the new Sweet Pea team will bring. Based on our experience so far, it's gonna be LIT!

Food was delicious, wait staff wonderful and while we sat for many hours (always at the ready to leave if our table was needed) we never felt rushed. An amazing day at the diner!!!

Definitely worth the trip from the Capital District. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Generous portions of homemade style cooking. Very friendly staff gives excellent service. Great value. It's your fault if you can't finish your meal. Patio is open. Located just off intersection of State Hwy 22 and 23 in Hillsdale.

I ordered a burger with lettuce tomato onion pickle and mayo on the side. No onion or pickle, drowned in mayo on the bun, bottom bun was soaking wet, burger was cold and stuck out past the bun , lettuce was thicker than burger. My wife ordered tuna melt, she said tuna tasted like it was soaked in lemon juice. I understand everyone has a bad day so I will give them one more try. There won't be a third try with the ridiculously high prices of eating out these days.

Went here on a whim early in the morning. Checked the reviews thought it looked cute. Drove 45 minutes away for it for the stuffed French toast I saw on the menu. We got there and it was cute. Friendly people. Sat down in a booth and looked at the menu. Ordered the hungry man with easy eggs and pancakes and the stuffed French toast with berry compote. Got the food and my boyfriends eggs were on top of his pancakes. He got easy eggs and they're very runny. The least someone could have done was let us know eggs came on top of the pancakes so we could ask for a separate plate. My French toast sure was stuffed. 3 inches of cinnamon butter in between 2 tiny slices of SOGGY barely toasted bread!! And I did not receive my berry compote. We added a side of hash that was crispy on top but was undercooked underneath. Will not be coming back. Was so excited too.

Great food! Some of the best in the area. Everyone is pleasant and the restaurant itself is very nice.
