This salon is an excuse of a business and maintains a disgusting treatment of customers. Not only is it beyond words disorganized and unwelcoming but they will give people appointments when they do not actually have the time for them. They clearly allow everyone to make appointments and hope for the best when the salon is extremely packed which ends up wasting everyone’s time and money. Be honest and say no, you can not come in because we are busy.
When I was finally seen, the woman was in such a hurry and a rush that my hair is now beyond butchered. I am extremely horrified with what was done to me. Maybe if they had some sort of organization or better communication with customers, everyone wouldn’t be rushing so horribly!
I refuse to believe for even a second that this is a 4 star salon.

Susan worked quickly and was friendly. She also stepped in when there was some kind of scheduling error with the online booking. Also can’t beat that $12 haircut, including tip!
The check in on the iPad was nice and easy and the place is decorated very nice. Definitely like Lemon Tree’s newer rebrand here. They also had a deal so I was able to get a cheap haircut that was less than $15 including the tip.

My daughter had an appointment for a balayage coloring last Friday with Ariana. My daughter discussed exactly what she wanted with Ariana before they got started. She showed her pictures of her last balayage (done at a different salon) and said she wanted the exact same look but just wanted to bring the ombré up just a little higher. After about an hour or so her appointment came to its conclusion. Unfortunately my daughter walked out upset with the results as It was the furthest thing from a balayage. It was EXTREMELY brassy and orange at the start of the color transition and it was streaky and patchy all over. We spoke with Ariana and expressed our disappointment. She tried to “brighten the blonde up” with a quick purple shampoo wash but it did nothing for the true issues. Management offered that we come back a few days later to fix the “misunderstanding”. I thanked them for understanding and we returned today for the color correction. After going through the same process today my daughter has still left extremely disappointed and now out of time as she has her senior photos Wednesday. There are still patches of orange all over and there is zero blend throughout her entire head. I am extremely disappointed in what should have been a pretty basic and simple request.

I got a haircut from Kris a couple weekends ago and it was awesome. Place was packed on a Sunday morning at 9:30 and yet I was still in and out. I have gotten $150 haircuts and I have gotten $25 haircuts. This one I have to say was perfect. Wash, cut, blow dry and straighten, all for $25.00. Very happy! Next time I am on Long Island I will def. show up again.

Went to Lemon Tree in Holbrook. Helen cut my hair. She not only did a fabulous job, she is an honest, personable hairdresser.

I’ve been to this salon twice now since I’ve moved here from Arizona and both times I’ve been very pleased. I requested the same hairstyle I’ve had for the past two decades, and I showed a picture of what I wanted it like and gave the amount I wanted taken off for the summer (1 inch). I also requested color services (a root touchup) and asked my stylist Patty what she might recommend. I highly recommend doing this step when you go. They know what works best for your hair. She recommended a keratin treatment and I sat under the dryer, which was comfortable and read quietly. Renee rinsed out my coloring and my keratin treatment both very gently and thoroughly. She is also extremely polite and thoughtful just like Patty. I had Joann the time before and she did terrific too. I highly recommend this salon. Even though I was an outsider moving in from out of state, they treated me like a regular both times and asked me about my family each time. They remembered me! This salon has a small town feel that makes you feel welcome, but has that extra up-to-date and current knowledge about new products and how to make your hair look it’s best. I recommend making an appointment in advance so they can take their time making you look and feel fabulous.

This was my first time at ANY Lemon Tree and I was pleasantly surprised. The place was jumping with customers coming in and going out with haircuts, shampoo and blow outs, Keratin treatments, highlights etc. Anthony the owner is very welcoming and engaging with continuous conversation. My stylist Shannon listened to what I wanted and I love the finished product. She was kind and talkative throughout my appointment. Great pricing and a great cut! Thank you to Anthony & Shannon for making my 1st Lemon Tree experience not my last! I will definitely be back!!

I was there for a 3rd time trying to get a specific color and thankfully Anthony was there!! My appointment was not even with him, but he heard about the trouble I was having and he so nicely took the time to figure it all out for me and then continually checked in on me throughout the process. Even wanted to see when it was done, as his shift was over before that. He genuinely wanted me to get what I was looking for and he hit the nail on the head. Thank you SO MUCH Anthony!!!

I’ve been upset with haircuts before but this was absolutely the worst haircut of my entire life. The woman clearly just wanted me out of the chair and did not take her time at all or even really listen to me. She messed up my curtain bangs really bad, they were just straight cut across my face, I go in for her to fix it and she continually keeps cutting my hair without telling me how shes fixing it and continues to mess it up. I eventually just got up cause i wanted her to stop touching my hair. I walked with grown out curtain bangs to around chin, walked out with short bangs that a girl only gets after deliberating for months or got broken up with. Horrible.
