No gluten-free food was provided to my wife. It wasn’t labeled correctly. The regular food, which was chicken cutlets with sauce and pasta was horrible. The sauce was watery and bitter, the pasta was soft, and the chicken cutlets did not taste like any familiar type of meat. People at our table did not like the chicken cutlets either. I can’t believe this place can continue to masquerade as an Italian place in New York. $60. Per person.

Very sad to post this. As a kid we ate at Momma Lombardi’s when it was a counter pizza and back room restaurant in the strip mall across from the current location. We have been back to the restaurant and catering hall for decades. This past week we were at a county HS sport’s dinner for Cheerleading. We had been there in the pat for a similar county sports even with our oldest in 2018. This time though was very disappointing. The servers slapped plates on the tables with zero care. My wife found a hair in her salad. The main course was a choice of chicken park, vegan, or gluten free. Our whole table went with chicken parm. What came out was barely warm and pitiful. It was a sliver of beaten up chicken with watery sauce, rubber cheese and forgettable pasta. Again these plates were ingloriously slapped onto the table. Cake came out as a haphazard afterthought. It wasn’t bad cake. The tables were all set with coffee cups for when the cake came. It became evident that no coffee would ever be served as they proceeded to move everyone out shortly after cake arrived. This was a hot mess of a service. The venue was attractive but the food and service were abysmal. This was not was Lombardi’s was known for and certainly not worth $60 a head. From a business standpoint I must scratch my head. Here were easily 100-150 cheerleaders, 16-18 years old and overwhelmingly female. These are all prime wedding reception business targets for the next 10 years yet the morons at Lombardi’s did nothing but prove why they should NOT be considered. Astounding.

We looked at so many venues for our event. Not one compared to Villa Lombardi's. The staff was so accommodating from the first visit through helping us pack the car after our party. They truly deliver Italian hospitality to the hosts and guests. It was so clean you can eat off the highly polished floors. Attention to every detail is an understatement. Food was fantastic and the party was well run. Service, presentation, cleanliness. They offer it all. If I had one do differently, I didn't like that open bar meant the bottles were hidden from our guests view.

This venue owes my husband and I over $6,000 for a cancelled reception from 2020. We also have a contract signed by us and the venue that the money would be repaid monthly and in full. We have made numerous attempts to communicate with them and they have not been responsive.

We had our wedding here on 11/22/23, Thanksgiving Eve. So many amazing things to say about this venue and our experience. Villas was the first venue we toured at when we started looking for venues for our wedding. We loved it immediately, just from walking in those front doors and also into the main ballroom. After looking at about 10 other venues, we came back here and booked with them as soon as we could. They were able to accommodate our date, which almost every other during that time of year in regards to when we were booking (a little more than a year ahead) was already booked up.Over that next year we had a few meetings with Eleanor who was our main contact and discussed all our details for the wedding. So many our guests, still to today, can’t stop mentioning how beautiful the venue was and also how incredible the food was, specifically the cocktail hour. The cocktail hour room has a beautiful look. Our ceremony was also held at Villas and we had it inside, which was a closed off portion of the main room. And then there’s the main ballroom which is just magnificent. Large space that comfortably accommodated our guests and vendors and made for a smooth night.Gave 4 stars because we felt there were 2 main issues here that we experienced. One was the promise of us having the entire ballroom as long as we had 300 people. We invited 470 guests, ended up having a little over 300 attend. Coming close to our date there were comments made about us not having the full room or that they would be able to fit 300 into half the room or 3/4 the room. Due to our guest count and vendors we were having (2 photo booths and caricature artist) we were adamant about having the full room, not to mention it was also in our written contract. And the problem here is that this was an issue up until the day before the wedding. It was an unnecessary issue to be added to the never ending list of wedding planning. After many discussions we did get the full room.Second issue was dinner being served late and delayed from one side of the room to the other. By the time one side of the room had gotten their dinner, the dessert was being put out for the other side. It was over an hour of dinner serving. It just felt like there was an issue with how many guests we had, yet they claim they can cater 600 guests here. With that being said I again want to say in the end we had a fantastic time here and it was a great venue with excellent staff. Eleanor was pleasant to work with, and Ray and Kathy helped assure us that the night was going to go smooth which it did with their help. Thank you all at Villa Lombardi’s!

Had my nephews wedding here. Picture speak about their decorations and all. But the what i have to highlight is the quality of their management and staff. They really took care of our guests. Also we did a cultural music and dance show during the wedding. Loved their sound system and lighting.

I get food here for Christmas. Waited 45 minutes last year. This year I’m still waiting it’s been an hour and 15 minutes. So I’m editing this comment because it gets better. After an hour and 15 minutes I tell the kid to get me an adult because in five minutes I’m gonna go back and get it myself. They bring out my order and I feel it’s cold. It was waiting in a refrigerator the whole time. 60 people waiting atleast an hour and it was already Mede. Villa deserves minus 5 stars. I was third wedding held in this place but I will never ever have anything to do with this place again. Disrespectful! And yet another edit. They just called and they said we got your order wrong. Amazing. The gift that keeps on giving.

DO NOT PICK THIS VENUEI had my reception here 9/2/23, just 2 months ago. I have never experienced such horrible hospitality. The wedding attendant was rude and did not go over my timeline till the day of the wedding. Her name is Eleanor. I can not emphasize enough how horrible she is. She did not have any clue of what was going on.There was no forks, spoons or plates for the guests and when my father asked Eleanor to add more utensils her exact words were “ I don’t have time for this”. I also paid EXTRA for top shelf alcohol AND desserts and they did not provide this. They put out the desserts and hour later only after my wedding planner kept complaining, by the time they put the desserts the wedding was over. And they did not provide top shelf alcohol at all.I have contacted Villa Lombardi multiple times and called multiples times to speak about this issue, and I have gotten no response. They absolutely do not care about their clients. I worked hard all year to make sure my wedding was perfect and this venue ruined my wedding day and a wasted money. And Eleanor stated she had a fever the day of my wedding, so not only did she risk me and my husband of getting sick but my 460 guests. The least Villa Lombardi could’ve done was address my issue. Villa Lombardi is the absolute worst venue and I hope nobody gets married here.
